O'Brien Equipment traces its history of nearly 100 years to the T.J. O'Brien Engineering Company founded in Memphis by Mr. Thomas J. O'Brien in 1925. Mr. O'Brien began as a steam systems engineer for large institutions and other industries. After World War II, the company transitioned into a manufacturer's rep firm and has since represented some of the best-known brands in the business. O'Brien Equipment now enjoys the status of being one of the oldest Marley Cooling Tower reps in the country, having represented their products for over 70 years... Today, O'Brien Equipment carries on the traditions that Mr. O'Brien established while adapting to the ever-changing conditions of today's marketplace... O'Brien Equipment provides service and parts to the Memphis, Knoxville, Nashville, Mobile, and Pensacola areas, as well as limited product offerings in Kentucky.
