David S. Turk

David S. Turk, MD, FACS completed his Bachelor of Arts degree in sociology at the University of Cincinnati in 1990. He graduated from the Medical College of Ohio with a degree in medicine in 1994. He performed research at Yale University School of Medicine. He served his urology residency at Case Western Reserve University. Dr. Turk has research experience and publication credits in the field of lead poisoning, and laser vaporization of the prostate. As a urologist, he has extensive experience in laparoscopic surgery, robotic surgery, and benign prostate surgery. His personal interests include cycling, travel, singing, and skiing. He is married and has four children. He joined SouthWest Urology, Inc. in July 2000. Dr. Turk is certified by the American Board of Urology and is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons.

Dr. Lawrence Gervasi

Lawrence Gervasi, MD, FACS received his Bachelor of Science Degree from Washington University in St. Louis and a Master of Science degree from the University of Texas at Austin. He received his medical degree from Baylor College of Medicine. At North Shore University Hospital, a teaching center for Cornell University, he completed his general surgery residency. He completed his urology training at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas. Dr. Gervasi is the Medical Director of Clinical Research at SouthWest Urology, Inc. where he has been in private practice since 1991. He is certified by the American Board of Urology and is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons. Dr. Gervasi is past President of the Cleveland Urological Society, current Chief of Urology at Southwest General Health Center, current Chief of Surgery and Urology at Parma Community General Hospital. He also serves on the Medical Executive Committee at Parma Community General Hospital. He is an Assistant Clinical Professor at Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine. He is a member of the American Association of Clinical Urologists, the American Association, the Academy of Medicine-Cleveland, and the Ohio Urological Society. Dr. Gervasi received the Peer Chosen "Best Physician's Award" published in Cleveland Magazine in March, 2010 and 2011. His interests include clinical research, medical and surgical management of benign prostate diseases, stone disease, erectile dysfunction, urinary incontinence and male infertility. Dr. Gervasi grew up in Parma and North Royalton Ohio. He graduated from St. Ignatius High School. He is married with four children.

Dr. Michael Berte

Michael Berte, MD, FACS received his medical degree from Indiana University. He completed his residency in general surgery and in urology at University Hospitals of Cleveland, Ohio. In the first year of private practice, Dr. Berte practiced medicine in New Mexico where he stayed for one year. He missed Cleveland so much he came back to join SouthWest Urology in 1986. He is certified by the American Board of Urology and is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons. He is a current member of the Ohio State Medical Association, the American Medical Association, the American Urological Association, the Cleveland Academy of Cleveland and Northeast Ohio, and the Cleveland and Ohio branches of the Urological Society. Dr. Berte is a former Chief of the Department of Urology at both Parma Community General Hospital and Southwest General Health Center. He currently serves as Assistant Clinical Professor at Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine, Urology Department. He is a published author and has an eclectic range of outside activities.

Dr. Tim Sidor

Tim Sidor, MD, FACS received his medical degree from Case Western Reserve University. His surgical and urological training was completed at University Hospitals of Cleveland in Ohio. He has been in private practice since 1982. Dr. Sidor is a co-founder of SouthWest Urology, Inc. and has been practicing with the group since 1986. Dr. Sidor serves as Assistant Clinical Professor of Urology at Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine. He is certified by the American Board of Urology and is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons. He is a member of the American Association of Clinical Urologists, the American Fertility Society, the American Medical Association, the Society of Endolaparoscopic Surgeons, the Society for Male Reproduction and Urology and the American Institute of Ultrasound Medicine. His interests include the evaluation of voiding dysfunctional problems, neuromodulation therapy for severe urinary incontinence, surgical and medical management of kidney and ureteral stones. Dr. Sidor was an honored professional of the Nation Directory of Who's Who in Executives and Professionals.
