Alejandro Bevacqua

Dr. Bevacqua received his undergraduate degree from the State University of New York at Binghamton in 1989 and his medical degree from New York Medical College in 1994. Following medical school, he completed a three year ophthalmology residency at Nassau County Medical Center in New York where he trained in medicine and surgery of the eyes. Dr. Bevacqua served as chief resident. Dr. Bevacqua is board certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology and has been in private practice since 1998 specializing in medicine and surgery of the eyes. Dr. Bevacqua performs state of the art surgery including no-stitch cataract surgery and custom cornea LASIK. Dr. Bevacqua has personally performed thousands of surgical and refractive procedures and is highly regarded among his peers as being a premier eye surgeon, receiving surgical referrals from regional Ophthalmologists. Dr. Bevacqua also spent several years during his training at a regional trauma center treating traumatic eye injuries. Dr. Bevacqua has extensive experience in diagnosing and treating cataracts, glaucoma, macular degeneration, and diabetic eye disease. Dr. Bevacqua is a diplomate of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, a diplomate of the American Board of Ophthalmology and has been listed as a top eye physician in regional publications including "The Consumer's Research Council".

Allison Gunzburg

After earning an undergraduate degree in accounting from the University of Illinois and working in public accounting for 4 years, Dr. Allison Gunzburg returned to school to pursue a lifelong interest in medicine. She attended Northwestern University Medical School and later completed her residency at the University of Chicago, earning the Excellence in Patient Care award. Dr. Gunzburg then moved to St. Louis, Missouri, to complete fellowship training in cornea and refractive surgery. She practiced in St. Louis for four years and was named a Top Doctor, before relocating to New Jersey, where she has practiced since 2008. As an experienced board-certified ophthalmologist and eye surgeon, Dr. Gunzburg specializes in comprehensive ophthalmology, cataract and refractive surgery, and glaucoma procedures. She is especially skilled in laser cataract surgery and intraocular lens implants, helping patients achieve optimal surgical results. In addition, Dr. Gunzburg treats glaucoma, combining glaucoma procedures-including lasers and implantable drainage devices-with cataract surgery when appropriate. Aman Matta

Dr. Matta completed medical school and his internship at Ain Shams University School of Medicine, and completed his residency at Albert Einstein College of Medicine at the Catholic Medical Center of Brooklyn and Queens and the State University of New York, Stony Brook at the Nassau University Medical Center. He then went on to complete a fellowship in Anterior Segment and Cornea & Refraction at the Bucci Cataract and Laser Vision Institute in Pennsylvania.

Andrew I. Miller

Andrew I. Miller is an experienced, board certified, fellowship-trained corneal, refractive (LASIK) and cataract surgeon who has successfully performed thousands of vision correction surgeries over the 10 years he has been in practice. He has been actively involved in clinical research involving refractive surgery. He continues to train young physicians in the arts of cataract and refractive surgery. Doctor Miller was born in Short Hills, New Jersey. He received his B.A. from Columbia University and his M.D. from New York University School of Medicine where he also completed his residency in ophthalmology. Following his residency, he completed a fellowship in cataract and refractive surgery at the Manhattan Eye, Ear & Throat Hospital. He is a Diplomate of the American Board of Ophthalmology. He is also a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgeons, and the International Society of Refractive Surgery of the American Academy of Ophthalmology.

Anthony P. D'Amato

Dr. D'Amato graduated from Iona College with a BS in Biology. After working on his master's degree at Fairleigh Dickinson University, Dr. D'Amato attended medical school at The University of Bologna in Italy. Dr. completed his internship at Grasslands Hospital in Valhalla, NY followed by his residencies at Wills Eye Hospital & Associated Eye Residencies of New Jersey at New Jersey College of Medicine & Dentistry. Dr. D'Amato served at the Academy of Health Science's for the US Army & was honorably discharged with a Captain's Rank. Dr. D'Amato served as Chief of Ophthalmology at Columbus Hospital in Newark, NJ. At the present time Dr. D'Amato is affiliated Clara Maass Medical Center in Belleville, NJ as well as St. Claire's Hospital in both Dover & Denville, NJ. He is an assistant clinical professor in ophthalmology at New Jersey Medical School.

Armand P Fasano

Cristin D. Subramaniam

Cristin D. Subramaniam, M.D. is a Board-Certified Ophthalmologist who provides high quality and compassionate eye care to adults and children. Dr. Subramaniam offers treatment for patients with a wide variety of eye disorders, including dry eye syndrome and glaucoma. She utilizes the latest techniques and technology to perform cataract surgery. Dr. Subramaniam grew up in Plainsboro, New Jersey. Dipal Shah

Dr. Shah is a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology (AAO), the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery (ASCRS) and the Cornea Society. She has presented her research at several meetings throughout her medical training and presented her cornea research at several meetings to further the understanding of cornea disease and surgery. Dr. Shah has had the privilege of providing laser vision correction for our military service as part of the team at The USAF Warfighter Laser Surgery Center at Lackland Air Force Base in San Antonio, Texas.

Dr. Brian Brazzo

Dr. Brian Brazzo is a board-certified ophthalmologist whose scope of practice includes the most advanced techniques in plastic surgery. He specializes in oculoplastic surgery, which combines cosmetic and reconstructive surgery of the eyelids and tear duct system. Dr. Brazzo is a graduate of Harvard Medical School and the University of Pennsylvania. He completed his post-graduate training in ophthalmology at the Manhattan Eye, Ear & Throat Hospital, and was an American Society of Ophthalmic Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery Fellow at the William Beaumont Hospital in Michigan. Dr. Brazzo is currently a clinical ophthalmologist at Weill Medical College in New York and Director of Oculoplastics services at Maimonides Medical Center in Brooklyn. He is on the staff of the New York Eye and Ear Infirmary and serves as an attending physician at New York - Presbyterian Hospital. Dr. Brazzo is also currently active in ophthalmic research. He is an editor of numerous books on oculoplastic surgery, and is a featured lecturer and author of numerous articles and papers. Dr. Cary M. Silverman

Dr. Hadley Phillips

Dr. Kunjal Modi

Dr. Lawrence Geyman

Dr. Geyman attended Columbia University and graduated with Departmental Honors in Biology and a minor in Music. During his medical education, he pursued a year of research at the New York Eye and Ear Infirmary, focusing on metabolic and vascular imaging in glaucoma. After interning at Mount Sinai Beth Israel Hospital, Dr. Geyman completed his residency in ophthalmology at the Illinois Eye and Ear Infirmary in Chicago, where he served as Chief Resident. Dr. Geyman completed his training as a Glaucoma Fellow at the Wilmer Eye Institute of Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore, where he was exposed to the most advanced methods in glaucoma management by internationally renowned specialists. Over the course of his education and training, Dr. Geyman has led projects to improve patient education, and his research has been published in leading journals such as Ophthalmology Glaucoma and JAMA Ophthalmology, among others. Dr. Michael Landolfi

Dr. Michael Landolfi is a 1994 graduate of Boston College. He proceeded on to do his medical school training and residency at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey. In 2003 he joined Vision Eye Physicians and Surgeons where he currently practices Comprehensive Ophthalmology, which includes dry eye disease, glaucoma, macular degeneration, diabetic eye disease, and cataracts. Dr. Landolfi specializes in cataract surgery and premium intraocular lens implants, including multifocal and astigmatism-correcting lenses. He is one of the past presidents of the New Jersey Academic of Ophthalmology and currently sits on the board of governors where he continues to fight for patients and doctors' rights. Dr. Landolfi is a member of the River Drive Surgery and Laser Center and with his colleagues will be one of the first ophthalmologists in N.E. Jersey trained to do Laser Cataract Surgery, the most advanced treatment at this time. He is also the Director of Adult Ophthalmology at Newark Eye and Ear Infirmary, and Chief of the Department of Ophthalmology at Clara Maass Medical Center. Dr. Orazio L. Giliberti

Dr. Orazio L. Giliberti, FACS is a board certified ophthalmologist and laser certified refractive surgeon with over 30 years of experience. He owns and operates a private practice, Giliberti Eye and Laser Center, located in Totowa, New Jersey. He leads a team of fellow physicians, which includes Dr. Francesca M. Dr. Richard Walker

Prior to that, he served as Chief Resident of Ophthalmology at Interfaith Medical Center in Brooklyn, New York. Dr. Walker completed his medical training at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey and received his undergraduate degree at Cornell University. Dr. Walker's work has been published in Cornea, a leading ophthalmology journal, and he has lectured at many conferences on topics including DSAEK corneal transplant surgery and a variety of ophthalmic treatments. Dr. Walker lives in Randolph with his wife and two daughters.

Dr. Scott Pomerantz

Dr. Scott Pomerantz received his undergraduate degree from Brandeis University in 1982. He then attended the prestigious Emory University School of Medicine and received his medical degree in 1986. Dr. Pomerantz completed his residency training at the Albert Einstein School of Medicine, where he gained experience learning under some of the top minds at The Montefiore Medical Center. Jeffrey M. Reisman

Jeffrey M. Dr. DeLuca grew up in Westchester County. He attended Iona Preparatory School in New Rochelle where he was a regent scholar. He went on to Fairfield University where he graduated with honors. He attended Rutgers Medical School, which is now the Robert Woods Johnson Medical School. Dr. DeLuca supported his education through outside jobs and student loans. It is of note that he was only one of two students to be accepted as an out of state resident to Rutgers Medical School at the time. Dr. DeLuca attended the Affiliated Eye Residency Program where he was elected chief resident in his final year. He received the Irving Shulman MD Memorial Award for "Exemplary Compassion and Medical Expertise" and the "Award of Excellence in the Surgical Education of Residents." He has been featured in several newspaper articles, and magazines, among them The New York Time and The Star Ledger. Dr. DeLuca has been elected to every Best Doctor list year after year. These include New York Magazine, Americas Top Doctors, Best Doctors, and Inside New Jersey Magazine. He published a number of professional articles early in his career and continues to be on the cutting edge of new ophthalmic medical and surgical innovations. Kathryn Childs

Dr. Childs is a Board-Certified Ophthalmologist and offers state of the art treatment for both medical and surgical diseases of the eye. She graduated from SUNY Downstate Medical College in 1991 and completed her ophthalmology residency at New York Medical College in 1995 where she served as Chief Resident. Dr. Childs was Associate Director of Ophthalmology at Lincoln Hospital in New York and Assistant Professor of Ophthalmology at Cornell University Medical College. She has also held academic positions at New York Medical College and the Manhattan Eye, Ear, and Throat Hospital training the resident ophthalmologist in all aspects of medical and surgical eye care. Matthew Hosler

He later graduated from the MD/PhD program at Rutgers New Jersey Medical School, where he was awarded the Stanley S. Bergen medal of excellence.
