Dr. Bevacqua received his undergraduate degree from the State University of New York at Binghamton in 1989 and his medical degree from New York Medical College in 1994. Following medical school, he completed a three year ophthalmology residency at Nassau County Medical Center in New York where he trained in medicine and surgery of the eyes. Dr. Bevacqua served as chief resident.
Dr. Bevacqua is board certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology and has been in private practice since 1998 specializing in medicine and surgery of the eyes. Dr. Bevacqua performs state of the art surgery including no-stitch cataract surgery and custom cornea LASIK. Dr. Bevacqua has personally performed thousands of surgical and refractive procedures and is highly regarded among his peers as being a premier eye surgeon, receiving surgical referrals from regional Ophthalmologists. Dr. Bevacqua also spent several years during his training at a regional trauma center treating traumatic eye injuries. Dr. Bevacqua has extensive experience in diagnosing and treating cataracts, glaucoma, macular degeneration, and diabetic eye disease.

After earning an undergraduate degree in accounting from the University of Illinois and working in public accounting for 4 years, Dr. Allison Gunzburg returned to school to pursue a lifelong interest in medicine. She attended Northwestern University Medical School and later completed her residency at the University of Chicago, earning the Excellence in Patient Care award.
Dr. Gunzburg then moved to St. Louis, Missouri, to complete fellowship training in cornea and refractive surgery. She practiced in St. Louis for four years and was named a Top Doctor, before relocating to New Jersey, where she has practiced since 2008.
As an experienced board-certified ophthalmologist and eye surgeon, Dr. Gunzburg specializes in comprehensive ophthalmology, cataract and refractive surgery, and glaucoma procedures. She is especially skilled in laser cataract surgery and intraocular lens implants, helping patients achieve optimal surgical results. Dr. Matta completed medical school and his internship at Ain Shams University School of Medicine, and completed his residency at Albert Einstein College of Medicine at the Catholic Medical Center of Brooklyn and Queens and the State University of New York, Stony Brook at the Nassau University Medical Center. He then went on to complete a fellowship in Anterior Segment and Cornea & Refraction at the Bucci Cataract and Laser Vision Institute in Pennsylvania.
Andrew I. Miller is an experienced, board certified, fellowship-trained corneal, refractive (LASIK) and cataract surgeon who has successfully performed thousands of vision correction surgeries over the 10 years he has been in practice.
He has been actively involved in clinical research involving refractive surgery. He continues to train young physicians in the arts of cataract and refractive surgery.
Doctor Miller was born in Short Hills, New Jersey. He received his B.A. from Columbia University and his M.D. from New York University School of Medicine where he also completed his residency in ophthalmology. Following his residency, he completed a fellowship in cataract and refractive surgery at the Manhattan Eye, Ear & Throat Hospital.
He is a Diplomate of the American Board of Ophthalmology. He is also a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgeons, and the International Society of Refractive Surgery of the American Academy of Ophthalmology.
Dr. D'Amato graduated from Iona College with a BS in Biology. After working on his master's degree at Fairleigh Dickinson University, Dr. D'Amato attended medical school at The University of Bologna in Italy. Dr. completed his internship at Grasslands Hospital in Valhalla, NY followed by his residencies at Wills Eye Hospital & Associated Eye Residencies of New Jersey at New Jersey College of Medicine & Dentistry. Dr. D'Amato served at the Academy of Health Science's for the US Army & was honorably discharged with a Captain's Rank. Dr. D'Amato served as Chief of Ophthalmology at Columbus Hospital in Newark, NJ.
At the present time Dr. D'Amato is affiliated Clara Maass Medical Center in Belleville, NJ as well as St. Claire's Hospital in both Dover & Denville, NJ. He is an assistant clinical professor in ophthalmology at New Jersey Medical School.

Dr. Shah is a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology (AAO), the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery (ASCRS) and the Cornea Society. She has presented her research at several meetings throughout her medical training and presented her cornea research at several meetings to further the understanding of cornea disease and surgery. Dr. Shah has had the privilege of providing laser vision correction for our military service as part of the team at The USAF Warfighter Laser Surgery Center at Lackland Air Force Base in San Antonio, Texas.
Dr. Brian Brazzo is a board-certified ophthalmologist whose scope of practice includes the most advanced techniques in plastic surgery. He specializes in oculoplastic surgery, which combines cosmetic and reconstructive surgery of the eyelids and tear duct system.

Dr. Ganesh Rau, M.D. was raised in Northern New Jersey and went to New Jersey Medical School. Dr. Rau is a cornea trained ophthalmic surgeon. Dr. Rau followed his residency with a cornea and external eye disease fellowship at the University of Wisconsin in Madison, Wisconsin. Today, Dr. Miller is a LASIK eye surgeon in New Jersey and carries on the practice founded by his father and offers the best in advanced vision correction techniques. He is a member of the medical board of Saint Barnabas Hospital's Refractive Surgery Center and an attending on staff at Saint Barnabas Medical Center. Dr. Kunjal Modi was raised in northern New Jersey. He attended Rutgers University for medical school, as well as for his residency training, where he served as the chief resident. Dr. Lawrence Geyman is a fellowship-trained glaucoma specialist specializing in cataract surgery and glaucoma management and surgery. Dr. Geyman attended Columbia University and graduated with Departmental Honors in Biology and a minor in Music. He subsequently attended the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai, where he graduated with Distinction in Research and as an inductee into the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society. During his medical education, he pursued a year of research at the New York Eye and Ear Infirmary, focusing on metabolic and vascular imaging in glaucoma.
After interning at Mount Sinai Beth Israel Hospital, Dr. Geyman completed his residency in ophthalmology at the Illinois Eye and Ear Infirmary in Chicago, where he served as Chief Resident. Dr. Geyman completed his training as a Glaucoma Fellow at the Wilmer Eye Institute of Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore, where he was exposed to the most advanced methods in glaucoma management by internationally renowned specialists. Over the course of his education and training, Dr. Geyman has led projects to improve patient education, and his research has been published in leading journals such as Ophthalmology Glaucoma and JAMA Ophthalmology, among others. He has given podium presentations at the Association for Research in Vision and Ophthalmology conference and has been featured on the educational glaucoma podcast Diagnosis Glaucoma.
Dr. Geyman prioritizes patient education and satisfaction and strives to build a warm patient-physician relationship. Dr. Michael Landolfi is a 1994 graduate of Boston College. He proceeded on to do his medical school training and residency at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey. In 2003 he joined Vision Eye Physicians and Surgeons where he currently practices Comprehensive Ophthalmology, which includes dry eye disease, glaucoma, macular degeneration, diabetic eye disease, and cataracts. Dr. Landolfi specializes in cataract surgery and premium intraocular lens implants, including multifocal and astigmatism-correcting lenses. He is one of the past presidents of the New Jersey Academic of Ophthalmology and currently sits on the board of governors where he continues to fight for patients and doctors' rights. Dr. Landolfi is a member of the River Drive Surgery and Laser Center and with his colleagues will be one of the first ophthalmologists in N.E. Jersey trained to do Laser Cataract Surgery, the most advanced treatment at this time. He is also the Director of Adult Ophthalmology at Newark Eye and Ear Infirmary, and Chief of the Department of Ophthalmology at Clara Maass Medical Center. He has been named one of "America's Top Ophthalmologists" multiple times by Consumers' Research Council of America.
Dr. Orazio L. Giliberti, FACS is a board certified ophthalmologist and laser certified refractive surgeon with over 30 years of experience. He owns and operates a private practice, Giliberti Eye and Laser Center, located in Totowa, New Jersey. He leads a team of fellow physicians, which includes Dr. Francesca M. Giliberti, an ophthalmologist and eye surgeon, as well as Dr. Dominick I. Golio, an ophthalmologist and oculoplastic surgeon.

Dr. Richard Walker is excited to work with his father as the second generation of his family to serve the ocular needs of Northern New Jersey. Dr. Walker is a Board Certified ophthalmologist and completed a fellowship specializing in LASIK and corneal surgery at Albany Medical Center. Prior to that, he served as Chief Resident of Ophthalmology at Interfaith Medical Center in Brooklyn, New York. Dr. Walker completed his medical training at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey and received his undergraduate degree at Cornell University. Dr. Walker's work has been published in Cornea, a leading ophthalmology journal, and he has lectured at many conferences on topics including DSAEK corneal transplant surgery and a variety of ophthalmic treatments. Dr. Scott Pomerantz received his undergraduate degree from Brandeis University in 1982. He then attended the prestigious Emory University School of Medicine and received his medical degree in 1986. Dr. Pomerantz completed his residency training at the Albert Einstein School of Medicine, where he gained experience learning under some of the top minds at The Montefiore Medical Center. He was selected by the Chairman of the Department to serve as Chief Resident during his final year of residency.
Dr. Pomerantz entered private practice in Paramus, New Jersey in 1990, where he has been practicing for the past two decades. He has performed thousands of cataract surgeries and laser treatments for glaucoma. He is on the cutting edge of cataract surgery, glaucoma management, and macular degeneration diagnosis and treatment. Dr. Pomerantz is the first surgeon in Bergen County to perform cataract surgery using the new Catalys femto laser.

Dr. Shawn R. Klein is an Ophthalmologist and Partner of Klein & Scannapiego MD PA, specializing in Refractive Surgery (LASIK and PRK) and Corneal Disease. Dr. Shawn Klein is one of New Jersey's very few Cornea-fellowship trained LASIK surgeons who routinely performs complex cataract and multi-focal implant surgeries.
Dr. Klein grew up in Livingston, NJ. He was graduated cum laude from the University of Pennsylvania. He received his M.D. and was a member of the prestigious Alpha Omega Alpha Honors Society at Robert Wood Johnson Medical School (formerly "Rutgers") in New Brunswick, NJ. He went on to complete his medical internship at Saint Vincents Hospital in Manhattan which was followed by his ophthalmology residency at New Jersey Medical School in Newark, NJ. Dr. Klein further specialized as the Fellow of Cornea and Refractive Surgery at Rush University Medical Center in Chicago, IL.

Dr. Klein has presented research on many different ophthalmologic topics at international meetings and has been published numerous times in medical literature. Dr. Sonia Kern was raised in Northern New Jersey. She completed her undergraduate education at The College of New Jersey, and then went on to graduate from UMDNJ-New Jersey Medical School as part of an accelerated 7 Year BS/MD Program. In her junior year of medical school she was awarded membership in Alpha Omega Alpha.
After completing an internal medicine internship at Sound Shore Medical Center of Westchester, Dr. Kern underwent her ophthalmology residency training at New York University. She then pursued a fellowship in Cornea, External Disease, and Refractive Surgery at Emory Eye Center in Atlanta, Georgia.
Dr. Kern sought employment in the Northeast in order to be closer to family and friends. She joined Ramapo Ophthalmology Associates in the summer of 2014. Prior to his career as an Ophthalmologist, Dr. Kramer was a concert cellist. He studied at the Juilliard Pre-College and the Perlman Music Program and received a Bachelor of Music (Cello Performance) from Rice University's Shepherd School of Music. Notable performance highlights include performances at Lincoln Center in the "Mostly Mozart" festival and Perlman Music Program concerts at Carnegie Hall. Dr. Kramer collaborated with Itzhak Perlman for a performance of Schumann's piano quintet at the Metropolitan Museum of Art and completed fellowships at the renowned Tanglewood Music Center, where he had the opportunity to perform in the Boston Symphony Orchestra. Jayati Sarkar, MD is a board certified EYE MD (Ophthalmologist) specializing in cataract, cornea, and laser vision correction. She completed ophthalmology training at Weill Cornell Medical College/New York Presbyterian Hospital, New York in 2008. Her fellowship training at the same institute was in cornea and refractive surgeries, which she successfully completed in 2009.
She joins Eye Care MD after working as an Assistant Professor of Clinical Ophthalmology at Weill Cornell Medical College and Attending Ophthalmologist at New York Hospital Queens, Flushing, New York. She received the 2012 Outstanding Teaching Award from Weill Cornell Medical College for her contribution towards residency training .

Jeffrey M. Reisman, M.D. is a Board-Certified Ophthalmologist and member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, the American Society for Cataract and Refractive Surgery, and the New Jersey Academy of Ophthalmology. Dr. Reisman has been practicing laser eye surgery in Morristown and Morris County, New Jersey since 1996.
Dr. Reisman received his B.A. from the University of Pennsylvania and his medical degree from Hahnemann University. After the completion of his Ophthalmology residency at the prestigious UMDNJ, New Jersey Medical College, he successfully obtained a fellowship in cornea and refractive surgery at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas.
Dr. DeLuca grew up in Westchester County. He attended Iona Preparatory School in New Rochelle where he was a regent scholar. He went on to Fairfield University where he graduated with honors. He attended Rutgers Medical School, which is now the Robert Woods Johnson Medical School. Dr. DeLuca supported his education through outside jobs and student loans. It is of note that he was only one of two students to be accepted as an out of state resident to Rutgers Medical School at the time.
Dr. DeLuca attended the Affiliated Eye Residency Program where he was elected chief resident in his final year.
He received the Irving Shulman MD Memorial Award for "Exemplary Compassion and Medical Expertise" and the "Award of Excellence in the Surgical Education of Residents." He has been featured in several newspaper articles, and magazines, among them The New York Time and The Star Ledger. Dr. DeLuca has been elected to every Best Doctor list year after year. These include New York Magazine, Americas Top Doctors, Best Doctors, and Inside New Jersey Magazine. He published a number of professional articles early in his career and continues to be on the cutting edge of new ophthalmic medical and surgical innovations.

Dr. Childs is a Board-Certified Ophthalmologist and offers state of the art treatment for both medical and surgical diseases of the eye. She graduated from SUNY Downstate Medical College in 1991 and completed her ophthalmology residency at New York Medical College in 1995 where she served as Chief Resident.
Dr. Childs was Associate Director of Ophthalmology at Lincoln Hospital in New York and Assistant Professor of Ophthalmology at Cornell University Medical College. He later graduated from the MD/PhD program at Rutgers New Jersey Medical School, where he was awarded the Stanley S. Bergen medal of excellence.
He completed Ophthalmology residency training at Penn State University School of Medicine where he served as chief resident. He received several awards during internship and residency. This was followed by glaucoma surgical fellowship training at the New York Eye and Ear Infirmary and NYU, where he conducted peer reviewed glaucoma research with Dr. Robert Ritch and Dr. Celso Tello.
Dr. Hosler is married with 4 children. He has served as an assistant coach for the Cranford Baseball and Softball League. He currently serves as the Swimming and Lifesaving merit badge counselor for Boy Scout Troop 80 in the Patriot's Path Counsel. He is a lecturer in the clinical medicine course at Seton Hall University. He is also a regular lecturer for the Diabetes Empowerment Education Program through Robert Wood Johnson Barnabas Health in Rahway.
