Aunty Jenny

Aunty Jenny manages the cleanliness of the whole centre. She makes sure that everywhere is spick and span throughout the day. She is caring and yet firm to the children.

Aunty Mui Hiong

Job Titles:
  • Chef
Aunty Mui Hiong has been a chef for more than 30 years and she has been cooking for children for more than 10 years. She used to worked in childcare centres and even school canteen. She is very gentle with children and she often managed to coax the children to try the food they may not like. The children love her cooking and she always tries to explore new dishes to put on the centre menu for the children so that they can be exposed to more varieties of food.

Everlynn Loh

Job Titles:
  • Centre Manager
Everlynn was working as a relief teacher with MOE primary schools for various subjects including Chinese, music, physical education and art and craft. She has also been tutoring primary school children for more than 15 years. She has decided to join Time Out Smarties as it is her passion to teach young children in a informal environment. As a mother, she is fully aware of the importance of holistic development for a child. Together with a team of educators and teachers, they designed the curriculum which covers general knowledge and current affairs. Other than academic excellence, she hopes to inculcate strong moral values and passion to learn in the children. She holds a Bachelor Degree in Arts and Social Science from National University of Singapore. Her experiences include working in a multinational company and also in various parts of the world. She believes that every child does not need to be the best but she hopes to bring out the best in him/her.

Kate Tan

Job Titles:
  • Teacher
Kate holds a Diploma in Biotechnology from Republic Polytechnic. After working in biotech industry and giving tuition for several years, she felt that she prefers working with children. She joined Time Out Smarties as she finds the curriculum gives her more opportunities to engage with the children other than their daily school work. She finds it exciting and challenging to design and deliver lesson plans that are both fun and educational for the children. Other than biotech industry and freelance tuition, her past experience also include working in student care centres. She also started pursuing Degree in Psychology on her own time with a local university to help her understand more about children's behaviour.

Shanie Leong

Job Titles:
  • Teacher
Ms Shanie is a diploma holder with prior working experience at an established child care centre. She enjoys working with young children especially reading to them. She joined Time Out Smarties as she is interested in working with older children. She enjoys the autonomous planning and delivering interesting lessons to the children that are both engaging and educational. She looks forward to have fun with the children through our curriculum.
