WESTERN AUSTRALIA ROVER OWNERS CLUB

The Club was established in 1983, when around sixty Rover enthusiasts responded to a newspaper advertisement and met in Mt Lawley. Doug Lyons and Trevor Ward, the two men understood to have conceived the idea of forming a club, became the inaugural President and Secretary... An earlier club, the Rover Classic Sports Register, catered for models up to the P3 only and had become defunct by the mid 1970s. Some of its former members joined the new club at the inaugural meeting, thereby providing a firm foundation of experience on which to build.
