CHRISTINE LUCKY INTERIORS

Christine Lucky Bazylevsky knew from an early age that she was meant to design the interiors of a home. Born in Southern New Jersey, Christine attended the Fashion Institute of Technology in NYC, and then worked in Manhattan's textile industry for several years, learning to work with Italian fabrics. Her first project was a loft on Mercer Street in Soho in 1998, where she learned how to mix antiques like salvaged stained glass cathedral windows with modern industrial iron and glass fixtures for a classic yet functional look... Christine's next few projects revolved around renovating and redesigning suburban homes, starting with an 1890's carriage house in Bedford, NY. She stripped the structure down to the barn beams, and gut renovated the entire home herself, from plumbing to kitchen design, lighting to landscaping. A buyer came by who bought the home with every piece of furniture, window treatment and china intact, and soon thereafter, Christine started her first company, Hannah..
