Bridget is General Counsel, Company Secretary and Group Compliance Officer for the Grant Samuel Group. She joined Grant Samuel in 2009 and has over 25 years experience in legal practice in New Zealand, the United Kingdom and Australia. Previously, Bridget was a Director at corporate and commercial law firm Watson Mangioni, specialising in financial services law, capital market transactions, private and public mergers and acquisitions, general corporate advice and regulatory matters involving ASX and ASIC. Bridget is a Solicitor of the High Court of New Zealand and Supreme Court of New South Wales. She holds a Bachelor of Laws, Bachelor of Arts (Hons) and Diploma in Applied Corporate Governance.

Christopher Newitt

Damien has broad industry experience including infrastructure, renewable energy, property, financial services, general industrials, media/advertising and leisure/entertainment. Prior to joining Grant Samuel, Damien worked with global management consultancy AT Kearney on strategy, operations and commercial due diligence assignments across the media, telecommunications, retail, IT and financial services sectors. He was also a Director of Gersh Investment Partners, a boutique property investment banking business.

Doug Bartlett

Doug joined Grant Samuel in 1991. He was CEO for eight years prior to becoming Chairman. He has more than 30 years' experience in investment banking. He was the founding Chairman of both GSFM (>$6 billion FUM) and Taurus Finance and a founding director of GS Private Equity (now Archer Capital). Prior to joining Grant Samuel, Doug worked in private equity, strategy consulting and as an engineer.

Emily Smith

Emily joined Grant Samuel in 2022 and has over 20 years' investment banking experience. Emily is a senior M&A adviser in our Corporate Advisory team. Prior to joining Grant Samuel, Emily worked with Credit Suisse, Deutsche Bank and Citigroup. Emily spent the first 15 years of her career as an equities analyst and covered Building Materials, REITs, Telecommunications, Steel and Diversified Industrials during this time, and ranked no. 1 through various published surveys. Emily has advised on a wide range of corporate advisory transactions spanning public and private company situations across a range of sectors, predominantly Industrial companies. Emily has experience across both M&A and capital with her specialisation being corporate advisory. Emily has worked on capital IPOs, equity transactions, domestically and internationally. Emily is also on the Board of Dexus Asset Management, which is the Responsible Entity for the Dexus Convenience REIT and Dexus Industrial REIT. Emily is also on the board of Kambala Girls School.

Jake Sheehan

Jimmy Lim

Jimmy joined Grant Samuel in 2024 and currently leads the Grant Samuel Hong Kong Office. Jimmy has over 20 years' experience in investment banking and investment management. In investment banking, Jimmy has worked on assignments advising and financing some of the largest metals and mining companies in the world. His investment management experience encompassed managing investment portfolios in the metals and mining, agribusiness and media/entertainment sectors. Prior to joining Grant Samuel Hong Kong, Jimmy was Senior Advisor in the Investment Banking division of Morgan Stanley in Hong Kong. He has also held positions at Morgan Stanley and Goldman Sachs (both in Hong Kong), where he was responsible for coverage of the Metals and Mining sector in Asia ex China; and in JPMorgan in Melbourne. Jimmy started his career as a Tax Accountant with Ernst & Young in Australia.

Peter Jackson

Rob Jenkins

Prior to joining Grant Samuel, Rob worked at National Australia Bank and the Commonwealth Bank of Australia in corporate and project finance; and with the Commonwealth Government in various policy areas across transport, communications, resources, energy, health and defence including a period as a ministerial adviser.

Rohit Khosla

His advisory experience includes leveraged finance, event driven financings, liability management and structured financing (reserve based lending and securitisations). Rohit has specialist sector experience in Energy, Infrastructure and Resources and has led and executed a multitude of financing transactions exceeding a total value of $25bn in Australia and the USA. Prior to joining Grant Samuel, Rohit was a Vice President in Citi's Energy team in the US advising on sponsor backed upstream and midstream oil and gas financings. Rohit has been a CFA charter holder since 2014 and is an active member of the CFA society.

Ross Grant

Ross founded Grant Samuel in 1988. He retired as Chairman in 2019. Ross was previously an Executive Director of Macquarie Bank Limited having joined Hill Samuel Australia Limited (the predecessor of Macquarie Bank Limited) in 1975. Ross holds degrees in Mathematics (BSc (Hons) - Otago University), Economics (MCom (Hons) - Canterbury University) and Business Administration (MBA - University of NSW). Ross was formerly a Director of Australian Wildlife Conservancy, the Mito Foundation and Waratahs Rugby. He is a Director of The Centre for Independent Studies.

Salih Harman
