Bridget is General Counsel, Company Secretary and Group Compliance Officer for the Grant Samuel Group. She joined Grant Samuel in 2009 and has over 25 years experience in legal practice in New Zealand, the United Kingdom and Australia.
Previously, Bridget was a Director at corporate and commercial law firm Watson Mangioni, specialising in financial services law, capital market transactions, private and public mergers and acquisitions, general corporate advice and regulatory matters involving ASX and ASIC.
Bridget is a Solicitor of the High Court of New Zealand and Supreme Court of New South Wales. She holds a Bachelor of Laws, Bachelor of Arts (Hons) and Diploma in Applied Corporate Governance.

Chris joined Grant Samuel in 2017 and has more than 10 years of debt and corporate advisory experience.
Chris has executed and led a diverse range of financing transactions across multiple industry sectors and debt capital markets in Australia and Europe. These have included corporate refinancings, event driven financings, project financings, leverage financings and complex debt restructurings.
Christopher joined Grant Samuel in 2009. Christopher has particular expertise in business acquisitions and divestments, and preparing valuations across a wide range of industries. He has also been extensively involved in the production of numerous independent expert reports for leading New Zealand corporations.
Christopher's previous corporate experience includes strategy-based roles at Lion Nathan, Spark and Emirates Airline.

Craig joined Grant Samuel in 2015 and is head of the Melbourne office. Craig has over 20 years of investment banking experience and has been involved in landmark M&A and financing transactions for a range of large public and private corporations. His experience includes large scale demergers, public company acquisitions and takeover responses and private treaty transactions.
Prior to joining Grant Samuel, Craig worked in Goldman Sachs' natural resources team in Melbourne, with Gresham Partners in both Melbourne and Sydney and as a corporate lawyer at Shell Australia.
Damien joined Grant Samuel in 2003 and has over 20 years' investment banking experience. Damien is CEO of Grant Samuel and Co-Head of the Real Assets advisory team, as well as providing general M&A and strategic advice.
Damien has advised on a wide range of corporate advisory transactions spanning public and private company M&A, strategic/commercial advice, capital raisings and valuation. Damien has broad industry experience including infrastructure, renewable energy, property, financial services, general industrials, media/advertising and leisure/entertainment.
Prior to joining Grant Samuel, Damien worked with global management consultancy AT Kearney on strategy, operations and commercial due diligence assignments across the media, telecommunications, retail, IT and financial services sectors. He was also a Director of Gersh Investment Partners, a boutique property investment banking business.

Doug joined Grant Samuel in 1991. He was CEO for eight years prior to becoming Chairman. He has more than 30 years' experience in investment banking.
He was the founding Chairman of both GSFM (>$6 billion FUM) and Taurus Finance and a founding director of GS Private Equity (now Archer Capital).
Prior to joining Grant Samuel, Doug worked in private equity, strategy consulting and as an engineer.

Emily joined Grant Samuel in 2022 and has over 20 years' investment banking experience. Emily is a senior M&A adviser in our Corporate Advisory team.
Prior to joining Grant Samuel, Emily worked with Credit Suisse, Deutsche Bank and Citigroup. Emily spent the first 15 years of her career as an equities analyst and covered Building Materials, REITs, Telecommunications, Steel and Diversified Industrials during this time, and ranked no. 1 through various published surveys.
Emily has advised on a wide range of corporate advisory transactions spanning public and private company situations across a range of sectors, predominantly Industrial companies. Emily has experience across both M&A and capital with her specialisation being corporate advisory. Emily has worked on capital IPOs, equity transactions, domestically and internationally.
Emily is also on the Board of Dexus Asset Management, which is the Responsible Entity for the Dexus Convenience REIT and Dexus Industrial REIT. Emily is also on the board of Kambala Girls School.
Jake joined Grant Samuel in 2013 and has 12 years' corporate advisory experience. He has experience in business divestments and acquisitions, preparing valuations, capital raising and providing general corporate advice to companies across a range of industries. Jake has also been involved in the preparation of numerous independent expert reports. His previous experience includes a role with investment bank Murray & Company in Christchurch.

Jaye joined Grant Samuel in 1994 and has more than 25 years' experience in corporate finance. She is responsible for the preparation of many of Grant Samuel's valuations and independent expert reports, primarily for top 200 ASX listed companies. She also advises on mergers, acquisitions and asset sales, working with a range of clients including listed companies, mutuals and private families. Jaye's expertise spans a wide range of industries, but with a focus on the financial services, property, health and media industries.
Prior to joining Grant Samuel, Jaye had four years' experience with the Corporate Services Division of Coopers & Lybrand (now PwC).

Jimmy joined Grant Samuel in 2024 and currently leads the Grant Samuel Hong Kong Office. Jimmy has over 20 years' experience in investment banking and investment management. In investment banking, Jimmy has worked on assignments advising and financing some of the largest metals and mining companies in the world. His investment management experience encompassed managing investment portfolios in the metals and mining, agribusiness and media/entertainment sectors.
Prior to joining Grant Samuel Hong Kong, Jimmy was Senior Advisor in the Investment Banking division of Morgan Stanley in Hong Kong. He has also held positions at Morgan Stanley and Goldman Sachs (both in Hong Kong), where he was responsible for coverage of the Metals and Mining sector in Asia ex China; and in JPMorgan in Melbourne. Jimmy started his career as a Tax Accountant with Ernst & Young in Australia.
Lachlan joined Grant Samuel in 2009 and has over 15 years' corporate advisory experience. Lachlan's experience includes public market transactions, private treaty sales, capital raisings, strategic advisory and corporate valuations. Lachlan has advised across a broad range of sectors with a recent focus on real estate, funds management, general industrials and retail.
Prior to joining Grant Samuel, Lachlan spent three years with EY in Sydney.
Matt joined Grant Samuel in 2018 and has over 15 years' commercial banking and investment banking experience across Australia and Asia. Matt has advised clients across a broad range of industry sectors including building materials, real estate, transport fuels and infrastructure, and telecommunications. His transaction experience includes corporate refinancings, event driven financings, leverage financings and structured real estate financings.

Michael is the founding director of the New Zealand office of Grant Samuel, which was established in 1991. He has more than 30 years' experience in investment banking across a wide range of sectors and has advised a number of New Zealand's leading corporates. More recently Michael has worked on independent expert reports for leading New Zealand corporations.
Prior to 1991 Michael was the Director, Business Development for Lion Nathan and was involved in the restructuring of LD Nathan, the merger of Lion and LD Nathan and the acquisition of Bond Brewing.
Nick joined Grant Samuel in 2013 and has over 11 years' debt advisory and capital markets experience across Australia and New Zealand.
He has advised clients across a broad range of industry sectors including non-bank financials, higher education, hospitality, mining services and retail. His experience includes corporate refinancings, leverage finance, structured finance, securitisations/warehouse financings and private capital raisings.
Prior to joining Grant Samuel, Nick worked for Deloitte in their corporate restructuring division.

Peter joined Grant Samuel in 1997. Peter has been involved in a wide range of advisory assignments, more recently specialising in the IT&T sector advising clients on raising capital, mergers and acquisitions and valuations. He has successfully completed sale advisory roles for a variety of businesses. Furthermore, he has worked on numerous independent expert reports for leading New Zealand corporations.
Before joining Grant Samuel, Peter worked in the Corporate Finance Division of Coopers & Lybrand. While at Coopers & Lybrand (now PwC), Peter was seconded for two years to the London office where he was involved in management buyouts, capital restructurings and mergers & acquisitions.
Peter joined Grant Samuel in 2017 and has over 15 years' investment banking experience. Peter's advisory experience includes public market transactions, trade sales, strategic advisory and public/private capital raisings. Peter has sector experience across the general industrials, consumer, technology and resources sectors.
Prior to joining Grant Samuel, Peter was a Vice President at Deutsche Bank in Sydney and Melbourne.
Rich joined Grant Samuel in 2018 and has over 20 years' experience in the non-bank sector. He leads FIG coverage for the firm and has been involved in over $80bn of securitisation transactions globally as well as domestic corporate debt and M&A transactions.

Rob joined Grant Samuel in 2003 and started the firm's Capital Advisory business. Rob has over 25 years of banking experience.
Rob has led and closed debt financings across the full spectrum of industry sectors, and across a range of financings including privatisations, greenfield/brownfield projects, M&A, corporate refinancings/restructures, leveraged and debt financings.
Prior to joining Grant Samuel, Rob worked at National Australia Bank and the Commonwealth Bank of Australia in corporate and project finance; and with the Commonwealth Government in various policy areas across transport, communications, resources, energy, health and defence including a period as a ministerial adviser.
Rohit joined Grant Samuel in 2017 and has over 10 years of debt advisory and capital markets experience. His advisory experience includes leveraged finance, event driven financings, liability management and structured financing (reserve based lending and securitisations).
Rohit has specialist sector experience in Energy, Infrastructure and Resources and has led and executed a multitude of financing transactions exceeding a total value of $25bn in Australia and the USA.
Prior to joining Grant Samuel, Rohit was a Vice President in Citi's Energy team in the US advising on sponsor backed upstream and midstream oil and gas financings. Rohit has been a CFA charter holder since 2014 and is an active member of the CFA society.
Ross founded Grant Samuel in 1988. He retired as Chairman in 2019. Ross was previously an Executive Director of Macquarie Bank Limited having joined Hill Samuel Australia Limited (the predecessor of Macquarie Bank Limited) in 1975. Ross holds degrees in Mathematics (BSc (Hons) - Otago University), Economics (MCom (Hons) - Canterbury University) and Business Administration (MBA - University of NSW).
Ross was formerly a Director of Australian Wildlife Conservancy, the Mito Foundation and Waratahs Rugby. He is a Director of The Centre for Independent Studies.

Scott joined Grant Samuel in 2004 to lead the Capital Advisory business in Melbourne.
Scott has led and closed debt financing across all sectors. Scott has extensive experience across a broad range of domestic and cross-border transactions including corporate and structured financings, resource sector finance, bank and bond markets, LBOs/MBOs, acquisition finance, syndications and securitisations.
Prior to joining Grant Samuel, Scott had 13 years' experience with JP Morgan subsidiary BankOne, Societe Generale and Westpac.

Prior to joining Grant Samuel, Scott worked for J.P. Morgan and Deutsche Bank in both Australia and the UK. Scott is also involved in a board or advisory capacity for several non-profit organisations.

Prior to joining Grant Samuel, Simon worked in the Structured Finance Division of Bank of Scotland in London, where he was responsible for the structuring, negotiating and completion of management buy outs and buy ins and the provision of senior and mezzanine debt.

Stephen has responsibility for overseeing all of the valuations and independent expert's reports undertaken by Grant Samuel's Sydney office.
Before joining Grant Samuel, Stephen spent six years with Macquarie Bank, including a two year secondment in London with Hill Samuel & Co. He began his career with KPMG.
