Angelika has worked in the dental industry since 2015, and qualified as a dental nurse in 2017. Her love for the profession saw her naturally progress into further study, graduating as both a Dental Therapist and a Dental Hygienist from the University of Plymouth in 2020. Angelika is passionate about treating her patients holistically and working together to improve their overall gum health. In her spare time Angelika enjoys stand up paddle boarding, travelling, exercising and eating out.
David is passionate about preserving patients' natural teeth, by delivering meticulous dental treatment. He strives to ensure patients' comfort, working in a calm and reassuring manner. David graduated in dentistry from the University of Sheffield in 2010 and subsequently worked in general dentistry in both the UK and New Zealand. He then undertook a two-year full-time Masters Degree in Endodontology at the prestigious Eastman Dental Institute (UCL), completing his MClinDent in 2018. He now limits his practice to Endodontics, accepting self referrals and external referrals for root canal treatment, delivering exemplary care.
Isabelle is a kind, warm-hearted dentist with over 30 years experience. We know you will be in good hands when you visit her.
Isabelle is a dentist with over 30 years experience in private practice and hospital based dentistry.
After qualifying in 1986 she lived and worked in Australia, returning to the UK to concentrate on her oral surgery training.
On gaining her Fellowship in 1995 she moved to Dubai to work as a specialist in Oral Surgery in a large private hospital.
Isabelle now lives locally and enjoys all aspects of dentistry and patient care. She is a registered UK specialist in Oral Surgery with special expertise in dental implants.
In her spare time she loves doing her garden and has recently taken up golf.

Louise is a kind a caring dentist, she enjoys treating nervous patients and with a young family of her own is excellent with children and adults alike. She enjoys water sports and running in her free time.

Maria is a registered specialist periodontist.
She has held a post of Specialist Clinical Teacher at King's College London as well as teaching in dental meetings and working in private practice.
She started her career in Manchester Dental School in 1994. Following graduation in 1999 she took on several house officer hospital posts while obtaining the MFDS examinations (Member of the Fellowship of Dental Surgery). She then started her 4 year specialist training program in Periodontics at Guy's Hospital which is part of King's College London. She holds an MSc, MClinDent and an MRD in Periodontics.
She accepts referrals in non-surgical and surgical periodontics including periodontal plastic surgery and regeneration therapy. She also accepts patients for crown lengthening procedures and dental implants.
Since graduating from the University of Manchester in 2000 Mehdi has worked in a number of prestigious private practices in Hampshire and London, where his care for his patients has been exemplary enabling him to build a wonderful rapport with his patients. Mehdi enjoys all aspects of dentistry but has a particular interest in root canal treatments and treating nervous and phobic patients, sometimes with the use of sedation.
Mehdi is committed to continued professional development and in 2007 gained the Postgraduate Certificate in Restorative Dentistry from the prestigious Eastman Dental Institute in London which allowed Mehdi to further refine his skills in the most complex aspects of general dentistry. Mehdi is currently studying for the Postgraduate Diploma in Implant Dentistry also at the Eastman Institute. Mehdi is very excited to be able to offer this treatment to our patients alongside Rachel our oral surgeon and they are also very happy to accept referrals from other dentists in the area for implant treatments. Away from the practice, Mehdi lives in Alton with his young family and enjoys a variety of outdoor pursuits including running, cycling, skiing and rugby coaching.

We are delighted that Nicky has joined our lovely caring team in our Botley practice. She qualified in 1992 from Guy's (United Medical and Dental Schools at Guys and St Thomas's Hospitals) London. After graduating Nicky worked as an associate general dental practitioner in Petersfield and Fareham.
Nicky enjoys all aspects of dentistry and has particular interest in treating nervous patients and children and also restorative and cosmetic dentistry.
Nicky is pleased to also be able to offer treatment for fine line reduction and short term orthodontics.
Away from work, Nicky is married with three children and enjoys taking part in many sports events and chasing after the children with their sports.
Olivia qualified in 2002 from Bristol University and after 4 years working in general practice her love of restorative dentistry drove her to further her postgraduate training. She was lucky enough to be given the opportunity to further her studies and was awarded a prestigious masters in Prosthodontics in 2008. These achievements have provided Olivia with advanced knowledge and experience in all aspects of Prosthodontics; including the management of advanced cosmetic restorative cases and tooth wear using conventional and minimally invasive cast restorations, prosthetic implantology, geriatric dentistry, complex removable dentures and tempomandibular disorders.
In her spare time Olivia enjoys spending time with her husband and their two small children, Millie and Monty as well as enjoying playing the piano and the flute and attending life class painting.
Olivia has advanced knowledge and experience in all aspects of Prosthodontics; including the management of advanced cosmetic restorative cases.

Rebecca takes great pleasure in being part of the Award winning team at Hartog Dental and delivers dentistry in a compassionate and empathic manner. Her passion and love for dentistry started at the early age of fourteen after work experience with her childhood dentist. She then studied dentistry at Newcastle University gaining the undergraduate award for restorative dentistry on graduation in 2001 and winning several prizes for her overseas studies. Since then she has enjoyed working in Hampshire for nearly 16 years and also furthered her knowledge and skills through completing a 5 year long post graduate diploma in restorative and implant dentistry at the prestigious Eastman Dental Hospital. She runs a continuing professional development study club for dentists in the local area and enjoys working closely with patients and referring dentists alike.
Becca is the founder and clinical lead dentist within Hartog Dental. Since its conception in 2006 Becca has brought her passion for dentistry to her patients and fellow clinicians.
Reza's many years of experience, and his pursuit of postgraduate education, have enabled him to have a more holistic approach.

Ross is a widely respected orthodontist. He is warm and caring, and of course extremely friendly.
Ross is kind and caring, with a real passion for delivering beautiful orthodontics whilst recognising the life long aesthetic and psychological benefits it brings his patients. Having spent his childhood in Winchester, he embarked on a country wide programme to gain his comprehensive orthodontic qualifications. After receiving his Dental Degree from Newcastle University with distinction in 2003 he went on to complete his Masters Degree in Orthodontics at Manchester University. In the same year, he was awarded the prestigious William Houston Gold Medal for achieving the highest mark in the MOrth specialty examination. With a desire to progress to the highest recognised orthodontic qualifications, Ross undertook a further 2 years of specialist orthodontic training at Bristol Dental Hospital, passing his Consultant exams in 2012. Ross was then appointed as a Consultant Orthodontist at Queen Alexandra Hospital Portsmouth and at St Mary's Hospital Isle of Wight, allowing him to return home to bring up his young family. As a Hospital Consultant he leads and provides complex multidisciplinary orthodontic care, has a central role in training and examining postgraduate students and is actively involved in research, having received national and international awards.
Somayeh is passionate about her work and enjoys the precision involved in complex procedures that makes them technically challenging. She enjoys treating her patients in a kind and reassuring manner.
A lady of many talents, Tobi has a wealth of experience in general dentistry.
Tobi qualified in 2003 from Glasgow and her strength lies in her patient empathy and ability to connect with people from all walks of life. She is reliable, supportive and conscientious and is very easy going. She has lived in Washington DC for 3 years before returning to this country in 2014 and coming to work in Southampton. She has 2 children and an enormous dog who she likes taking for long walks! She is also a published author!
Jo is a wonderful hygienist and her patients all love her gentle yet thorougher approach.
Joanne qualified as a Dental Hygienist in June 1988 from The Dental Institute of Dental Health and Training, RAF Halton. Joanne has specialist interest in caring for nervous patients and putting them at ease during treatment. She moved to Hampshire in 2016 and in her spare time enjoys sewing, reading and walking.

James is a Consultant Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon working at the Royal Surrey County Hospital, Guildford and North Hampshire NHS Foundation Trust, Basingstoke. He is dual qualified in both medicine and dentistry. Graduating from Nottingham Medical School in 2003 he undertook his early surgical training in Bristol where he also completed his dental degree.
His specialist Oral and Maxillofacial training in the South East of England included rotations at highly regarded units such as Queen Victoria Hospital, East Grinstead and the Royal Surrey Hospital. After becoming a consultant, James undertook a further international fellowship focused on orthognathic (corrective jaw surgery), reconstruction of traumatic facial injury and dental implant surgery at the Royal Melbourne Hospital, Australia. James also undertakes routine oral and maxillofacial procedures such as wisdom tooth removal and as a member of the specialist skin cancer multidisciplinary team is experienced in treating facial skin lesions.
James has a very friendly approach and gentle manner with patients helping them stay relaxed and comfortable during their treatment.

An eminent surgeon in his field, Sanjay is very personable putting even the most anxious patients at ease. His special interests include facial plastic and aesthetic surgery. Sanjay enjoys skiing, tennis and the occasional round of golf.
Sam is one of our lovely and friendly hygienists who works at our Alresford and Botley branches.
Sam started her Dental career as a Dental nurse, qualifying in 1991. During this time Sam worked in private and NHS sectors and finally took a position as a Maxillofacial Nurse at Queen Alexandra hospital Portsmouth. Working between oral Surgery and Orthodontics gave Sam the chance to expand her knowledge in facial reconstruction, oncology and oral cancer. Sam's interest in oral health grew and in 1997 she started training as a Dental Hygienist at Guys and St Thomas dental school London and gained a Diploma in Dental Hygiene.
Over the years Sam has worked in general practice and returned to QA as the departments Hygienist for a period.
More recently, Sam has worked within the Domiciliary Dental sector, concentrating on Oral Health in Care homes. This gave her great insight on the importance of good oral health and how that links with overall general health. "It is so important to look after our teeth whilst we are fit and able to care for ourselves, especially as people are keeping their own teeth for longer".
It's great to have Sam back in General practice and working back with our team at Hartog Dental.
Sam lives in Southampton raising a very active 10year old son. Her interests are Travel, Rugby, cooking and spending time with family and friends.
Sandy loves working in her community and many of her patients are now friends. She is committed to ensuring you have the healthiest of smiles.
Sandy qualified as a dental nurse in 1994, and after working for 10 years in practice, decided to further her career and gained a place at the prestigious Eastman Dental Hospital (part of University College London) where she studied dental hygiene. After commuting to London for 2 years and juggling family matters, she graduated as a mature student in June 2007.
Sandy lives very close to the river Arle enabling her and her family to enjoy walking, cycling, horse riding and the great countryside Alresford has to offer.
