Dr. Peterson specializes in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and treats a wide variety of patients of all ages. He has been placing dental implants since 1987, has extensive experience in implantology, and has successfully treated many dental implant patients throughout Chicagoland. Dr. Peterson graduated with a degree in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery from Northwestern University Dental School. He furthered his training and education through a program focused in Anesthesiology, and Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at Cook County Hospital College of Surgery.
In 1984, he opened his own practice of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery in addition to a multi-specialty medical group in Dixon, IL. He is happy to have transitioned that practice to Webster Dental Care of Skokie, IL. He looks forward to bringing his focused attention and the All-on-X treatment to his patients at Webster Dental Care.
On a personal note, Dr. Peterson enjoys spending time with his wife, children and grandchildren. His hobbies include traveling, skiing, tennis and the outdoors. In addition to dentistry, he practices law and teaches at a university.

Dr. Robert Schwartz grew up in Tampa, Florida although he has called Chicago home for the past 14 years. He received his B.S. Degree in Microbiology and Cell Science with a minor in Chemistry from the University of Florida in Gainesville. Dr. Schwartz also received a M.S. degree in Medical Science from the University of Florida. Following his graduate studies, Dr. Schwartz attended the University of Illinois at Chicago where he obtained a Doctor of Dental Surgery (D.D.S.) degree, graduating among the top of this class. Continuing at University if Illinois, he completed his orthodontic specialty training and earned an M.S. degree in Oral Sciences and a certificate in Orthodontics.
In his free time, he enjoys outdoors, including sailing, kayaking, hiking, and camping with his family.
Dr. Schwartz is a member of the American Academy of Orthodontists, the American Dental Association, the Illinois State Dental Society, the Chicago Dental Society, and the Illinois Society of Orthodontists.
