Alex Kafetz

Alex is a campaigner for inclusive use of technology to improve health outcomes and better transparency of data to improve the quality of services and ensure citizens have the same information as clinicians and managers. He advises organisations internationally on this, helping them align to changing healthcare needs. Whilst working for Dr Foster, he led the first publication of patient safety indicators across the NHS.He has several non-executive and lay positions including an independent member of the National Information Board since 2014 and with the NHS in East London. In 2018 Alex was appointed as an adviser to the Independent Inquiry into the issues raised by breast surgeon Ian Paterson.

Brad Lancken

Brad is an experienced private and public company executive with over 15 years experience and is a Managing Partner of Liverpool Partners with former roles at Archer Capital and Seven Group Holdings Limited.

Cheryl McCullagh

Adjunct Associate Professor Cheryl is an experienced Executive Director in health with a demonstrated history of operational management, technology implementation delivery, strategic planning, business process improvement, implementation science research and change management. She has strong program and project management in funding models and health IT professional with a Master's Degree in Health Services Administration from the University of Technology, Sydney. Before joining Beamtree, Cheryl served as interim Chief Executive of the Sydney Children's Hospitals Network.

Doug Henry

Doug was a co-founder and Managing Director of the Pavilion Health business that merged with PKS (now Beamtree) in June 2020. With a career spanning more than 30 years, he has been a successful entrepreneur, and a business and technology consultant in the US, Australia, Europe, Asia and the Middle East. With a career spanning more than 30 years, he has been a successful entrepreneur, and a business and technology consultant (IBM (AiC), DST Systems, CSC, Adstream, Invivo Medical) in the US, Australia, Europe, Asia and the Middle East. Doug specialises in program and project management, operational process model design and excellence, and strategic organisational transformation. He has substantial experience in Senior Management, C-Level and Director roles. He currently sits on the External Advisory Committee for the School of Computer, Data and Mathematical Science at the University of Western Sydney, and serves as a volunteer Rural Fire Fighter for the Eccleston NSW fire brigade.

Emma Gray

Her focus was protecting and leveraging data and technology for better customer and shareholder outcomes. Prior to joining ANZ, Emma was a Group Executive with Woolworths, where she focused on Loyalty, Data and Strategy. Prior to executive life, Emma was a partner with Bain & Company, where she specialised in the retail and consumer segments, working across Australia, the United States and the United Kingdom for 15 years. Out of work she is a passionate F45er, persists in following the Irish rugby team, and loves to spend down time with her teenage daughters (when they let her!), friends and family. Emma has an MBA from Harvard University and a BA in International Marketing and Languages (French and German) from Dublin City University, Ireland.

Evan is a highly experienced Senior Leader, with a proven track record in Health/ Medical Device/ IT Product and Delivery, and Business Operations. He has demonstrated success within large and small organisations; across the pathology, medical devices, and diagnostics sectors. With a focus on driving growth through team engagement, customer relationships, continuous innovation and continuous improvements to increase productivity and efficiency of operations. Evan leads our RippleDown services both nationally and internationally. He has delivered a number of high impact projects across the globe resulting in improved business performance for health services.

James Birch

Jennifer Nobbs

Based in the UK, Jennifer is responsible for engaging with new and existing markets internationally to lead advisory work and provide analytical insights and tools which support better clinical decision making, operational efficiency, quality of health data and quality of patient care. Jennifer has 16 years' experience in developing and leading strategies across government, non-government and private sectors and a range of policy settings in Australia and the UK. Prior to joining Beamtree, Jennifer ran her own health data policy advisory firm in the UK, consulting internationally. Until 2018, she was the Executive Director of Activity Based Funding at the Independent Hospital Pricing Authority in Sydney. As a NSW ministerial staffer, Jennifer drove the establishment of the NSW Mental Health Commission, and led health departmental work on national mental health, drug and alcohol and homelessness strategies across sectors, connecting policy, research and grass-roots programmes to implement change.

Larissa Mason

Marek Stepniak

Marek is a highly respected healthcare leader and collaborator working closely with provider and payer organisations, pharmaceutical and medical technology companies, private equity firms, governments, and their boards across multiple regions. Marek's extensive experience spans Australia, New Zealand, the United Kingdom, Europe, Middle East, Africa, South-East Asia, China, and the USA, providing him with a global perspective on healthcare dynamics. Recently as a Partner, Health Care Practice Leader and Senior Advisor at McKinsey & Company, Marek led teams in designing and implementing operational, organisation-wide, digital transformation, and growth strategies helping drive impactful change and deliver tangible results. Marek has also held leadership positions as CEO/COO at various hospital groups (with up to 2400 inpatient beds), COO at I-MED (Australia's largest imaging provider) and MD at Perot Systems Corporation (EMEAs leading system integrator). He has also contributed as a Non-Executive Director including at various NHS Trusts bringing a wealth of industry knowledge and strategic insights. Mark McLellan - CFO, COO

Mark joined Beamtree in April 2022. Prior to joining, Mark was Chief Financial Officer and Chief Operating Officer at rhipe limited, an ASX listed cloud software distributor. During Mark's 5+ years at rhipe, the business grew its revenue's threefold, moved from loss making to an EBITDA of $20m and its share price increased from 50 cents to $2.50, the price at which the business was sold in late 2021. This experience in managing a fast growing, multi country, IT focused business will help support Beamtree's own growth aspirations. Mark is a qualified member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Scotland (1997) and also holds a B.A. (Hons) Degree in Economics. Mark has previously worked for PWC in the UK and Ernst & Young in Australia. Mark also worked for almost 12 years at The Royal Bank of Scotland plc, latterly in their Strategy and Corporate Development team where he was involved in the extensive government led bailout of the bank and the subsequent restructuring. Mark has extensive experience in strategic planning, financial and capital allocation modelling and mergers and acquisitions.

Michael Hill

Mike has served as Chairman of multiple ASX-listed companies over the past eight years. He is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Australia.

Prior to joining Beamtree, Stephen was Chief Information Officer for NPS MedicineWise, responsible for Digital Health and Technology and supporting stewardship for Quality Use of Medicines. Key achievements included modernising and enhancing digital assets including the MedicineInsight platform, online learning systems for healthcare professionals, mobile apps and other digital assets that supported and educated healthcare professionals and consumers across Australia. Previously Stephen was the Head of IT - Imaging at Healius with responsibility for technology strategy and service delivery for over 140 radiology practices in hospitals, community practices and medical centres. Stephen began his career in technology consulting at Accenture across healthcare, pharmaceutical, consumer goods and related industries before broadening his technology experience as IT Director for Campbell Arnotts across Asia Pacific. Stephen specialises in technology strategy, governance, service and risk management. Stephen has developed teams across technical domains including application design and development, data management and analytics, identity and access management, cyber-security and cloud and infrastructure management.

Tim Kelsey - CEO

Tim is an internationally regarded digital health leader. He was inaugural CEO of the Australian Digital Health Agency which led an unprecedented digital reform program to provide citizens with access to online health records. Before that he was the National Director for Patients and Information at NHS England where he had responsibility for national data and technology services for the world's largest unitary health service. He co-founded and was inaugural chair of the Global Digital Health Partnership which now has more than 35 country participants, alongside multinational organisations including the WHO and OECD. He has also served as senior vice president of Analytics International at HIMSS, a not-for-profit organisation supporting the digital empowerment of health and wellbeing around the world. Tim is a visiting professor at Imperial College, London and a noted author, including Transparency and the Open Society (2016 University of Chicago, with Roger Taylor).

Victoria leads Beamtree's Knowledge Networks including the Health Roundtable and Ability Roundtable. Victoria is an experienced research consultant, policy advisor and program manager with 20 years working in the health industry. She is skilled in qualitative research, stakeholder consultation, strategic planning, facilitation, analytical skills, data, research design and program evaluation. Victoria leads Beamtree's Knowledge Networks including Health Roundtable, Ability Roundtable and the Workforce Wellbeing Collaborative. She has extensive experience applying co-design methodologies to create solutions to complex health system challenges. Her special interests are in access to equitable health care, health workforce planning and building the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander health workforce.
