Elizabeth Head

Elizabeth is a born and bred Southerner, and that hospitable nature overflows into her programs. But don't let that fool you. She's a pistol and will get you what you need. With over 15 years of extensive experience in destination management, Elizabeth is an expert in both the creative process and event logistics. She has worked with companies and associations in every industry, with groups ranging in size from 10 to over 4,000 attendees. Elizabeth has more than enough resources and imagination to consistently exceed clients' wildest dreams: from an elegant dinner on the diamond at the Braves' stadium to a fun-filled buyout of the world's largest aquarium, from an intimate experience at one of Atlanta's private country clubs to active outings to Stone Mountain. While Elizabeth's passion and commitment to her work runs deep, it doesn't stop there. Giving back to the community is important. In her spare time she lends her expertise to help organize Emory's Winship Cancer Center's annual fashion show fundraiser. After having been named the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's Runner up "Woman of the Year" in 2015, she continues to support them and sits on their board. Read more

Esther Chi

Esther Chi steps into the captivating world of events with Scout Local Destination Management by blending Midwest charm with Southern hospitality, influenced by a decade in Atlanta, Georgia. A proud graduate of The Ohio State University, as a John Glenn Public Affairs major, working with people became her passion. Her craft is honed by a long history in Food and Beverage and orchestrating unforgettable events for over 10 years in the restaurant and hotel industry. With meticulous attention to detail and a flair for creativity, she transforms occasions into mesmerizing masterpieces, creating cherished memories that last a lifetime.

Kim Freisem

Job Titles:
  • Event Specialist
Quick-witted, logical, and creative best describe Kim. She hails from Texas but has lived in Atlanta since 2011. Kim graduated from the University of Texas summa cum laude with a bachelor's degree in Communication Studies in 2002. She then worked at the Texas House of Representatives before venturing to law school. She received her juris doctorate from The University of Texas School of Law. She then practiced transactional law at Jones Day in Dallas and election law at the Texas Secretary of State's Office in Austin. Then she found her home in Atlanta where she practiced administrative law at the Georgia Office of State Administrative Hearings and the Georgia Department of Law. Her communications education, organizational skills, and legal experience naturally brought her to the world of event planning. Most recently, Kim twice chaired sections of Spotlight on Art - the award-winning fundraiser for Trinity School in Atlanta. Managing artists, assistants, and clients at an opening reception, week-long artists' market, and closing party, Kim realized her talent and passion for event design and production. Kim and her husband, Allen, have three growing boys and reside in the Buckhead area of Atlanta.

Robyn Elliott

Robyn is a native of Atlanta with a homegrown knowledge of the people and places that make this city an extraordinary choice to host a meeting, conference or convention. She brings 18 years of experience from managing off-site programming in the architectural publishing industry, trade show management as well as owning and operating a successful bicycle tour company in Atlanta. Since 2013 her company has maintained the #1 ranking in Atlanta on Trip Advisor. Attention to detail and commitment to exceptional customer service are priorities with every project Robyn undertakes. She is thrilled to have the opportunity to support the Scout Local team in multiple capacities. She will develop new and innovative experiences that will be unique to Scout Local programs and manage vendor relations.

Vicki Matthews

Vicki knows one thing better than anybody - the numbers. Her commitment to flawless accounting and balanced books can be summed up in her mantra: "If I'm off by a penny, I'm off by a dollar". With over 25+ years of experience working with businesses of all sizes, both internally & externally - Vicki's ability to build bridges, manage teams, set expectations and support all financial aspects of an enterprise is second to none. As Controller, her attention to detail and accountability keeps our team running smoothly and always one step ahead so we can focus on serving you, our clients & partners. While financials keep her busy during the week, Vicki's true passion comes from her family. As a mother of 5 and grandmother to dozens, Vicki's lifeblood comes from helping and serving others, especially the ones she loves. She is also a huge advocate for animals and loves playing with and caring for her two Dogs, Duke & Vader as well as her cats Stella & Red. Also, GO DAWGS!
