Leah Matthews

Job Titles:
  • Member of the DTH Admin Team
  • New to Practice Fellowships Administrator
My name is Leah Matthews. I am 25 years old, I live in Taunton with my Rottweiler Bucky- named after one of my favourite Marvel characters. Before I started with the Devon Training Hub, I was a dog groomer. I did that for about 5 years and loved every minute of it but felt like it was time to broaden my horizon. Changing from a dog groomer to a programme administrator is quite the career change, however I am very excited for a new challenge and discover more opportunities. A little bit more about me is that I love going for adventurous walks with Bucky - our favourite is Lyme Regis beach in Dorset and we go there at least once a week. When we're not at a beach we will try find new walks along the woods. When I can, I also love paddle boarding- my next challenge is to try and get Bucky to balance on the board with me.

Victoria Tucker

Job Titles:
  • Programme Administrator, Devon Training Hub My Name Is Victoria but Everyone Calls Me Vix! I Live in West Devon With My Husband and Two Young Children.
I've been working in administrative and customer service roles for 16 years, including working for a regional airline, local authority children's services and for an independent fostering agency. While working for the fostering agency I discovered the world of training and professional development, and I was very lucky to be able to join the team at the Devon Training Hub in March 2020. In my leisure time I like to spend time with my family; we live near Dartmoor so we are often found walking and kicking balls about on the moor! I am also a very keen church bell ringer and I like to put my administrative skills to use supporting bell projects around the county. I also ring for Sunday services and in bell ringing competitions. There is a lot to learn in this role, but I am really enjoying getting to know everyone and working on the training programme. I hope I get to meet you soon!
