A Place To Grow, a nonprofit corporation inspires others to create a healthy and fun lifestyle through gardening, education and physical activity... In January, 2014 I established a 501(c)(3)nonprofit called A Place To Grow (APTG). With the help of my board members Regina McCurdy, Susie Powell, and many volunteers we provide keyhole gardens and teach the basics of gardening, nutrition and science. APTG initial plan was to work with schools but expanded to include seniors, the disabled, low income, children's homes and community gardens. The gardens are easily accessible for everyone, especially seniors and the disabled... To accomplish this mission we provide keyhole gardens to students, seniors, the disabled and/or low income individual s.
