Amanda Daniel is first-year LMFT Associate and second-year LPC Associate supervised by Mike Bishop, PhD LMFT-S LPC-S. Amanda obtained a Bachelor's of Arts in Liberal Studies and a Master's of Arts in Professional Counseling at Texas Wesleyan University. Amanda has worked with individuals and family systems in the treatment of mental health, substance use, and co-occurring disorders for two years. Amanda uses postmodern, person-centered, and relational models in her work with clients and families. Her hobbies include soccer, music, and crochet.

Our CEO and Co-Founder, Danny Andino, knows addiction first hand. Danny graduated from Baylor University with a degree in Business/Entrepreneurship. Danny was once at the peak of his medical sales career when addiction began to consume his life. Danny entered drug treatment on 11/17/2011 and by the grace of God and his commitment to use the tools he was equipped with, Danny is still sober today. He is not just sober, but is now walking in the destiny that was his all along. After working in the addiction treatment industry for the last three years, Danny has seen first-hand the devastating effects of addiction. Danny knows that his calling is to help people heal and break the chains of addiction that are preventing them from living the lives they were created for. Danny has found freedom from drugs and alcohol and he wants the same freedom for others who are battling addiction. We believe that with the tools that we will share with you, that you too can thrive and live the life that you were created to live.

Eliyah "Ellie" Hernandez is a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate (LPC-Associate), Nationally Certified Counselor (NCC), and Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor Intern (LCDC-I) supervised by Ashley Kuehne, LPC-S, LCDC. Ellie received her Masters of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling with a specialization in adults from the University of North Texas and a Bachelors of Science in Psychology from the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor.

Julie has been a Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor (LCDC) and program director of several treatment facilities for 30 years now. In December, she will graduate with a master's degree in Addiction Counseling from Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center. Her work with addiction requires her to also be an expert in identifying and treating co-occurring mental health issues, as addiction is rarely isolated.
Julie's professional and personal experiences combine to increase her effectiveness in helping others. She started abusing substances at age 13, attended individual counseling and IOP treatment while an adolescent, and got clean and sober in residential treatment at age 24. Thirty-eight years later, Julie gladly continues to work in a recovery program to maintain her sobriety, happiness, resilience, and gratitude in action.

He has worked in a wide range of treatment settings - from residential treatment, partial-hospitalization programs, and intensive outpatient services. He has worked extensively as an LCDC supervisor mentoring those entering the field of substance use treatment professionals. He has an extensive background in relapse prevention, substance use prevention, and HIV/AIDS counseling and education and has worked as an HIV informant counselor. As a person in recovery, Kevin knows and understands the challenges his clients face on a daily basis, and he works tirelessly to provide the best treatment and support possible.

Monica is a Chemical Dependency Counselor (LCDC) with over 12 years of experience working with those with substance abuse and co-occurring disorders. Monica brings the unique perspective of having experience with the full continuum of substance abuse care - residential treatment programs, and intensive outpatient settings, detoxification settings, telehealth, coaching, and transitional living. Monica has extensive training in relapse prevention and is a certified relapse-prevention specialist. Monica holds a Bachelor of Science in Human Services/Addiction Medicine concentration, from Springfield College. She is currently a graduate student at Houston Baptist University in the Clinical Mental Health Counseling Program. Monica is working towards obtaining her LPC-A.

Rob Holman is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) who is passionate about helping people. He believes that the therapeutic counseling relationship is a powerful tool for healing, perspective, and growth. Everyone has a story. Everyone's life is unique in its own way and based upon the individual circumstances and environment they have encountered throughout their life and on a continued everyday basis. Without proper coping skills, these unique experiences can sometimes compound until they and our lives are unmanageable. While life is full of beautiful moments, life can be painful, stressful and chaotic. Rob takes pride in supporting and going the extra mile for anyone going through a challenging and painful time. He will be present in the pain and willing to walk with his clients to the other side and once again embrace the beautiful moments of life. He will also equip clients with skills that will see them through if and when challenges arise again.
Rob has experience and expertise in adult crisis situations, spending the first part of his counseling career working as a crisis counselor. He can bring a sense of calm to the most challenging situation. He is trained in EMDR and uses an eclectic blend of Humanistic approaches and Cognitive/Behavioral Theory therapeutic techniques including CBT/DBT/ACT. Rob models his counseling approach on the Humanistic Approach of Carl Rogers. Carl Rogers said, ‘"Being empathetic is seeing the world through the eyes of the other, not seeing your world reflected in their eyes." Rob's goals are not to tell you the way to be and how to get there but to give you tools and skills that will help you find your own way.

Robert "Bob" Morrison is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) and ARC's Clinical Director in South Texas. Bob holds two master's degrees in clinical counseling and has over 20 years of experience in mental and behavioral health with an emphasis on addiction.
Early in his career, Bob worked with the California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation where he developed and supervised treatment of teenagers struggling with substance use and mental health challenges. For the last 15 years prior to joining ARC, Bob worked as a Therapist, Clinical Program Manager, and Regional Practice Specialist for Kaiser Permanente focused on mental health and addiction treatment through individual and group therapy.
Bob has extensive experience in Crises and Traumatic Events with training in Prolonged Exposure Therapy (PE), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), and Critical Incident Stress Management (CISM). Additionally, Bob has extensive training as an Improvement Advisor (Advanced IA), Rapid Improvement Models (RIM), SMART Goals, Run/Control Charts and Story Boards. Administratively, Bob is trained in Interest-Based Problem Solving (IBPS) and in Unit Based Team Member (UBTM) process. Strengthening life-styles that build self-respect, strength-based awareness, gratitude, and acceptance are common core foundational components Bob targets his treatment on.

Sonia Ruiz is a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate supervised by Shawna Munson, LPC-S. Sonia obtained a Bachelor's of Science in Psychology from Sam Houston State University and a Master's of Arts in Counseling from Houston Baptist University. Sonia has vast experience working with individuals struggling with substance abuse at inpatient treatment centers. Sonia's primary experience is with substance use disorders and co-occurring mental health disorders where she has served both adolescents and adults. She is also fluent in Spanish which is a great asset to our clients who speak Spanish as their primary language. Her hobbies include writing and sewing.
