Dr. Hammad is a professional member of various national and international bodies such as IEEE (Senior Member) ACM, and Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC). He has served as the Head of UG Curriculum Committee, PEC, and HEC, for Sub-Group Software Engineering. He has also served as an evaluator for several National R&D programs including ICT R&D, NGIRI, NTS etc. He has also attained several awards such as Best Researcher MCS NUST of the year 2019, and Peter Jones Prize of the year 2005, to attain highest grades in all MSc courses in the Department of Informatics, University of Manchester, UK (Equivalent to Gold Medal).
Dr. Asim Bakhshi has been teaching at NUST as an Associate Professor since Sep, 2020. He completed his doctoral studies from University of Engg and Tech, Lahore. He has over 20 publications. His research interests include Large Language Models, Application of ML in Signal Processing.

Goran Nenadic is a Professor in the Department of Computer Science, University of Manchester and a Turing Fellow at the Alan Turing Institute. His research interests are focused on natural language processing, text mining and semi-automated curation of knowledge from unstructured textual data. Goran has been working in this area since 1993. Current research projects focus on large-scale extraction and curation of biomedical information and clinical/epidemiological findings, by comibing rule-based and data-driven approaches. He is also interested in processing healthcare social media.

Dr. Imran Siddiqi is working as Lead Data Scientist at Xynoptik Australia, specializing in Computer Vision and Large Language Models. Previously, he has served as Professor and Director of Center of Excellence in AI at Bahria University Islamabad.
Dr. Iman A. Siddiqi received his degree in Computer Software Engineering in 2002 from NUST and was awarded the President of Pakistan Gold Medal. He received his Masters (2006) and PhD (2009) degrees from Paris Descartes University, France, and specializes in Image Processing and Pattern Recognition. He has been previously associated with Communications Enabling Technologies, Interactive Communications and Institute of Space Technology, Islamabad.
Prior to taking up his role at Staffordshire, Professor Nawaz held two substantive roles at Manchester Metropolitan University. As the Director of Business Transformations Research Centre, he led nearly 200 researchers specialising in digital transformation, analytics, industry 4.0, transforming markets and transforming places. As the Director of Digital Technology Solutions, he led Met's award-winning cross-faculty Digital Degree Apprenticeships portfolio delivering UG/PG programmes to nearly 900 apprentices from 70-plus leading technology employers. He was also the founding Head of the Apprenticeships Research Unit and the Text & Data Mining Lab at Manchester Met.
Professor Nawaz is a renowned expert in industry-academia co-creation, especially for high impact work-integrated programmes such as Degree Apprenticeships. He has advised on the establishment and launch of such programmes in Spain, New Zealand, Canada and Pakistan. He has addressed the Westminster Education Policy Forum twice and has been commissioned by the QAA to systematically analyse the Degree Apprenticeships pedagogies across English universities and advise the sector on best academic practices.
Professor Nawaz is also a leading researcher in Artificial Intelligence and Digital Education. He holds several adjunct professorships and scientific directorships across Asia and North America. He sits on the boards of research and charitable organisations like the National Centre for Artificial Intelligence (Pakistan), TechSkills (UK), and NTF (UK), and has advised national policy organisations including the Prime Minister's Task Force on Science and Technology (Pakistan). He has authored over 150 peer-reviewed research articles and his career grant capture stands at over £14 million. He has graduated 19 PhD students so far. According to Google Scholar, he is among the top-10 most cited scholars in the world in the fields of Digital Transformations, Applied Artificial Intelligence, and Educational Data Science.
In the past, he has held senior leadership positions in the private further and higher education sector and was an army officer before that.

Dr. Usman Zia is an Assistant Professor (Adjunct) at the School of Interdisciplinary Engineering and Sciences (SINES), National University of Sciences and Technology (NUST), Pakistan. He is also Enterprise Solution Architect for the Government of Pakistan since 2008. He has been the team lead for numerous national-level projects including the implementation of HRMS, Identity and Access Management Solutions, GIS-based Situational Awareness suite based on JC3IEDM and the National Immunization Management System (NIMS) for COVID-19.
His research interests are Natural Language Processing, Language Models, and Machine Learning. He has authored numerous international publications on language generation and machine learning. He is currently PI/ CO-PI of several funded projects related to Generative AI and NLP.
