One of the most important aspects of Duck Pond Day Care is the high caliber of our staff, their knowledge of child development and their commitment to providing excellent childcare. Staff members are required to complete trainings such as First Aid, CPR, Medication Administration (injectables included), DCF training, etc. It is mandatory that all teachers participate in Continuing Education with new and up to date training programs. Our staff will be positive role models to both the children and parents. Their care will be undeniably supportive, nurturing, warm and responsive to each child's needs. At all times we will respect the parents as the primary and most important caregivers, because we believe that the parents and teachers must be partners in each child's care, growth and education... We are a private child care center with a family-oriented program, founded in 1993. Choose from one of our two locations in Milford, CT or Hamden, CT.
