Attorney Freidin

Attorney Freidin has been highly active in a wide range of legal and community organizations. He was appointed to both the Florida Supreme Court Task Force on Complex Litigation and the Eleventh Circuit Judicial Nominating Commission. He has also served as the former president, vice president, treasurer and secretary of the Florida Justice Association and as a member of Governor Chiles' Task Force on Preventing Elderly Abuse. As a board certified expert and specialist in civil trial, Attorney Freidin has presented lectures and legal programs to hundreds of professional and trial organizations throughout the nation.

Howard Freidin is a founding partner and member of SW Florida Probate Trial Lawyers. Attorney Howard Freidin began his legal career in Florida in 1967. Prior to practicing law, he was a Certified Public Accountant (CPA). He is licensed to practice law in Florida and the District of Columbia, as well as before the U.S. Supreme Court, the U.S. Tax Court, and U.S. District Courts in Florida and Texas.

Joel H. Brown is a founding partner and member of SW Florida Probate Trial Lawyers. Attorney Brown litigates complex probate, estate and inheritance related conflicts and disputes. He is a highly respected trial lawyer who was elected by his colleagues to serve as Chief Judge of the Eleventh Judicial Circuit Court in Florida from February 2009 until April 2013, when he reentered the private practice of law. Attorney Brown was admitted to the Florida Bar in 1971 and practiced as a civil trial attorney for 19 years. In 1990, he was appointed to the Dade County Court by then Governor Bob Martinez and was subsequently appointed to the Eleventh Judicial Circuit Court in Florida by Governor Lawton Chiles. Throughout his legal career, Joel H. Brown has been an active member of numerous national, state, local and professional organizations, including the Dade County Justice Association, the Florida Justice Association and the Dade County Bar Association.

He is licensed to practice in Florida and Massachusetts, as well as before the U.S. Courts of Appeals for the 1st, 9th and 11th Circuits. Attorney Richard Inglis graduated from Suffolk University Law School in 1990 and began his legal career in Boston, Massachusetts with the litigation firm of Gargiulo/Rudnick LLP.
