Retired from the New York City Department of Education after 35 years of service, Gary Bergman served in school based, district-wide and city-wide positions as a teacher, Assistant Principal, Principal, Assistant Superintendent, and Director of offices that were responsible data collection, analysis and technical support to schools. In every position, he used technology to improve student achievement. Through Gary Bergman Consulting, he is currently assisting Charter Schools in New York City, Yonkers, and Philadelphia with various facets of instruction, school operations, student information management and technology. He holds a Bachelors and Masters Degree in Mathematics/Education and Professional Certificate in School Administration and Supervision.
