Mr. Dang was formerly in-house counsel for a number of Silicon Valley start-ups and companies, such as IBM and CA Technologies. He previously practiced as a corporate attorney with extensive experience in corporate and regulatory compliance, software and content/data licensing, brand and product marketing, intellectual property, and commercial transactions. His background also includes data privacy and security, mergers and acquisitions, and product and business development. Mr. Dang is licensed to practice in New York.
Lucy Galek is an experienced litigator with experience at well-known local and national law firms. Ms. Galek earned her J.D. from the University of San Francisco School of Law, and her undergraduate degree from Brandeis University. Her practice area is general civil litigation with an emphasis on insurance defense, business law, and products liability.
Matthew Kracht is an experienced litigator and trial attorney who provides responsive representation premised upon strategic and thorough analysis, common sense, and hard work. His practice area includes complex and catastrophic personal injury and wrongful death cases involving products liability, workplace injuries, dangerous conditions of property, and vehicle negligence, fraud claims, landlord/tenant disputes, and public entity defense. His trial experience includes handling complex cases that involve life-altering injuries and death. Mr. Kracht has been selected by his peers to the Northern California Super Lawyers Rising Star list in 2016 & 2017 - a recognition given to no more than 2.5% of California lawyers.
Prior to joining Heath & Yuen, APC, Mr. Kracht worked for preeminent civil litigation defense firms in San Francisco and Oakland. He has also interned at the San Diego City Attorney's Office. His past experience in representing both defendants and plaintiffs has equipped him with a unique perspective in representing his clients. Mr. Kracht resides in the East Bay and is a devoted husband and father of three.
Prior to the practice of law, Mr. Yuen served in the U.S. Air Force, and worked in I.T. for 13 years. His practices encompasses business disputes/torts, catastrophic personal injury, construction defect, employment, insurance disputes, landlord/tenant, premises liability, product defect, professional liability cases, and transportation-as well as complex, mass torts, and class-action lawsuits-as he typically represents commercial, construction, insurance, and professional clients. Mr. Yuen's case history includes numerous successful trial and appellate results. Successful case results include: a jury verdict after an hour's deliberation; multiple summary judgment motions granted; a dismissal order during the initial pleading stage; non-suits following opening statements, and multiple jury verdicts and arbitration awards. In 2021, he was selected to Super Lawyers, an exclusive list of top-rated attorneys who were chosen after thorough evaluation of numerous criteria.
