Prior to forming Huddleston Enterprises, Inc. in 2010, Mr. Huddleston was a member of the $11B Xerox Printing System Group"s Senior Leadership Team, His trail blazing career with Xerox began with him becoming a sales representative in the Detroit Major Market Sales Branch calling on Federal, State, and Local Government customers. In Detroit he served as a Sales Team Manager and Branch Manager of Sales. His successful career in sales operations led him to Xerox U.S. Marketing Headquarters in Rochester< NY where he served as Manager, Sales Training & Development, New Product Launch. He rose from that position to National Launch Manager for the MemoryWriter Electronic Typewriter, a product aimed at the IBM typewriter market. After a successful product launch of the MemorWriter, Mr. Huddleston was promoted to MemoryWriter Product & Program Manager and led the effort in Xerox becoming the U.S. market leader for electronic typewriter sales with over 300.000 units sold during the lat year he managed the program.. Mr. Huddleston was asked to join the Xerox System Group (XSG) in EL Segundo, Ca. as a member of of the Group's Strategy Office, as the new business group was being formed to consolidate an array of then recently developed digital products(electronic laser printers (Xerox 9700 Electronic Printing System), fax machines, personal computers, work stations, and vector graphic printing). As the Strategy Manager for Applications and Market Segmentation, Mr. Huddleston developed the overall arching strategy for supplying customers with Xerox Solutions that combined Xerox products with software and hardware made by third party companies, all of which could be purchased or leased directly from Xerox (an industry First). Recognizing that Xerox did not have the infrastructure to sale software (non serialized products) or third party hardware, both of which required service, he gained permission from XSG's President and other Xerox Corporate Officers to form a Small Business Entity inside of Xerox, The Xerox Connection (TXC), as a startup. Mr. Huddleston managed the growth of The Xerox Connection from a startup to a business unit that generated positive growth in annual sale revenue and enabled the sale revenue of 20 - 30% of Xerox Printing System sales. Under Mr. Huddleston's leadership , the third party offering from TXC were provided by over 100 third party partners and alliance world wide with companies such as United Technologies, XMpie, Solimar, Electronics for Imaging (EFI), Prism Software, Elixir Technologies, and many others who are leaders within their respective markets.. The relationships with the Xerox Alliances and Partners were also managed by TXC. TXC's business unit's name was changed to Alliance and Partnership Management (A&PM) and was given the worldwide responsibility for managing all aspects of Xerox' partnership activities including the Xerox Technology Agreement with Fuji Xerox.. During Mr. Huddleston Xerox tenure, he successfully launched over 100 product and services. Offering that were responsible for the creation of many new industries and market segments (Data Transformation, Web-toPrint, Variable Data Printing, Mail Hygiene/Print-to-Mail, Color DFE's, and others) within the Production Electronic Printing Industry. The organization continues today as one of the oldest and longest tanding business units within Xerox.
