The Hydrogeology Lab at MSU focuses on field data collection, simulation modeling, remote sensing, and machine learning analysis. We work with hydrologic, geophysical, geochemical, climate and satellite data across scales to address water, energy and climate issues across scales. Our interdisciplinary work interoperates researchers at all levels from undergraduates to graduate students, post-docs, staff members and faculty, as well as a large group of collaborators across MSU, other academic institutions and government agencies... Our research group combines new models with high resolution field data to explore the physical, chemical, and ecological processes in natural and anthropogenically-altered systems. Our core areas of expertise include field data collection, data management, statistical and numerical modeling, and GIS analysis. We have invested in developing these capabilities in order to strengthen the professionalism of our work, and to tackle water resource problems at ever..
