MCKENNA SANDERSON

My name is McKenna, and I am an award-winning designer, business-owner, artist, muralist, and all-around creative! By day, I'm an Assistant Professor, the Assistant Director of the School of Design, and the Division Head of the BFA in Graphic Design program at the University of Central Oklahoma. I received my MFA in Graphic Design from Maryland Institute College of Art and a BFA in Graphic Design from UCO... I have been teaching full-time at UCO since August 2019, and I am the current President of AIGA Oklahoma. For two years in a row, my photography work has exhibited internationally at PH21 Gallery in Budapest, Hungary in the shows Motion and -scapes. I started the national student design competition, Salute in Spring 2021. I am also the creative director and managing partner for Inktan k, UCO's on-campus, student-run studio.
