IZET - Key Persons
In the Gesellschaft für Technologieförderung GmbH Mr. Bennet Hollesen is responsible for the sector finances & controlling. He is supporting our IZET team since May 2020.
Bennet Hollesen is trained as an assistant tax consultant and additionally as an tax expert. He worked for a period of five years in a well-known tax consulting company before he changed to a steel trading company as commercial manager, where he worked the last two years.
Bernd Schmidt provides IZET's Facilities Management and is contact person for all questions and enquiries concerning technical infrastructure and the preparation of seminar and conference rooms.
He takes care of the servicing of technical installations, supervision of building measures, maintenance of outdoor facilities, and fire protection at IZET.
Bernd Schmidt completed an apprenticeship to become a skilled building worker and then worked in various areas of construction before gaining additional qualifications through further training.
He worked as company technician at Gesellschaft für Technologieförderung Itzehoe GmbH from 2000 to 2003, after which he spent time in the chemical industry, before returning to IZET in 2007. He then qualified as network administrator via distance learning from 2009 to 2011 and has been taking care of the IT network at Gesellschaft für Technologieförderung Itzehoe GmbH as well as the IT infrastructure of the entire complex.
Claudia Storm is head of Business Support. She is the central contact person for all companies resident at IZET and responsible for the organisation of their in-house events.
After high school graduation Claudia Storm completed vocational training in tax and business consulting support, after which she completed a trade apprenticeship as confectioner.
Claudia Storm gained work experience in various companies for three years before successfully attaining master craftsman status. Further training led to qualification in trade economics, after which she spent half a year in Australia to gain experience abroad.
Claudia Storm has been working at IZET Innovation Centre Itzehoe since
General Manager of Gesellschaft für Technologieförderung Itzehoe GmbH, Prof. Dr. Ralf Thiericke, is directly responsibility for the economic success and operative results of IZET Innovation Centre Itzehoe.
Silke Huckfeldt is the first point of contact for your customers, visitors, and suppliers, and for all central office services at IZET, including the organization of events as well as the booking of seminar and conference rooms.
Silke Huckfeldt completed an apprenticeship as Legal Secretary. She has gained more than 20 years' work experience at various companies in the banking and publishing industry in the area of secretariat/assistance, most recently as Assistant to the Board at a Hamburg bank.
Silke Runge has been part of the team at IZET since 2015.
Thomas Schmidt leads the Microtechnologies Schleswig-Holstein Cluster, and is chairman of the association Hightech Itzehoe e.V. He is the contact person for all questions about business start-ups and establishment as well as regional development.
Thomas Schmidt studied business administration with a focus on technology management in the department of economics at the University of Applied Sciences Lausitz in Cottbus/Senftenberg, graduating with a degree in Business Administration. In his dissertation he dealt with "Financing of innovation by the use of venture capital for high-tech companies".
Before beginning his studies, he completed a vocational training as a machine and plant fitter in Cottbus and then worked at the power plants at Vattenfall Europe AG. Thomas Schmidt has been part of the team at IZET Innovation Centre Itzehoe since 1998.
