Bernard Lester - Chairman

Bernard has been a member of PFCU since 1980 and is employed as the Information Security Officer. Prior to his current role, he worked in multiple departments of the credit union, and was previously the Network Manager of the Information Services Department. Bernard is PFCU's longest-serving employee, with over 40 years of experience. He was elected to the Board of Directors in 2010. He has served on the Election and Disaster Recovery Committees at PFCU and has also attended various conferences for continuing education offered to credit union directors. He is currently pursuing a B.S. in Cybersecurity Management and Policy at the University of Maryland University College. He currently serves on the Executive Committee and as Chairman of the Board. Born and raised in the East Germantown section of Philadelphia, Bernard later moved to the West Oak Lane area, where he participated in the neighborhood block watch committee and served as the block captain. He also provides financial support to several non-profit social services. Bernard currently resides in Montgomery County, is married and has four children. He enjoys traveling with his family, playing golf, is an avid reader and follows current events and local sports teams.

Bridget Tierney Brown

Bridget was born and raised in Northeast Philadelphia where she graduated from Nazareth Academy High School. She received her Bachelors of Science in Nursing in 1998 from Thomas Jefferson University and her Masters of Science in Nursing from the University of Pennsylvania. Bridget has been a member of the credit union since 1991 and served as an active volunteer on the Loan Review Committee from 2007 - 2012. She has served on the Supervisory Committee since 2012 and was elected to the Board of Directors in 2016. Bridget's professional career has focused on Nursing for over 24 years. She has held Registered Nurse positions for Abington Memorial and University of Pennsylvania Hospitals. Bridget was a Women's Health Care Nurse Practitioner at the University of Pennsylvania Hospital from 2006 - 2010 and presently is a Women's Health Care Nurse Practitioner for the Women's Health Care Group of Abington Memorial Hospital. Bridget is a member of the Association of Nurse Practitioners in Women's Health and is an active member of St. Cecilia's Church where she also volunteers her time for the school. Bridget supports many charities that include the Lung Cancer Foundation, the March of Dimes as well as her local parish. Her off duty interests include spending time with her family and vacations in the Outer Banks of North Carolina as well as the Jersey shore. Bridget is married with four children and resides in the Foxchase section of Philadelphia.

Carolyn Daley Brady

Carolyn was born in Norfolk, Virginia and raised in Springfield, Delaware County, PA. She graduated from Cardinal O'Hara High School and attended Neumann University. Carolyn has been a member of the credit union since 1990 and served as an active volunteer on the Supervisory Committee from 2010-2018. She was appointed to the Board of Directors in October 2018. Carolyn's professional career started in 1982 as the owner of Alvin's Flower Shop in Broomall, PA (1982-1998) and Alvin's Flowers, Too in Drexel Hill, PA (1994-1998). In 1998, she became a freelance floral designer. Carolyn was inducted into the American Institute of Floral Designers in 2015 and is a volunteer designer for the Philadelphia Flower Show. She also designed flowers at The White House for Pope Francis' Papal Visit in 2016. Throughout her career, Carolyn has held various positions in Philadelphia's Municipal Court. They include Court Administrative Officer, Judicial Aid and Administrative Assistant to Philadelphia's DUI and Drug Treatment Courts. Her community service includes Past President of the Broomall Rotary Club, and Lector at Presentation BVM Church. Carolyn is an avid runner and participated in Disney's Wine and Dine Half Marathon, the Philly lOK and the Philadelphia Rocky Run. She has supported such charities as the Pennsylvania Animal Welfare Society, Susan B. Komen Foundation, American Cancer Society and the Caron Foundation. Carolyn resides in Philadelphia, is married and has one daughter.

Charles Zacney

Chuck was born and raised in the Far Northeast section of Philadelphia for 35 years. He has been a credit union member for over 28 years and served as an active volunteer since 1992. Chuck served on the Loan Review Committee from its inception in 1993. After being promoted to the Supervisory Committee in 1995, he became Chairman in 1996. He has been a Board member since 1998. Chuck has held various positions as an Auditor for Hahnemann University Hospital, Manager of Abington Memorial Hospital and the Director of Billing for the University of Pennsylvania Orthopedics. He is currently the Vice President of a medical billing company in Fort Washington, Pa. His clients are Temple Health, Penn Medicine, Prospect Health and St Luke's Health Network to name a few. Chuck serves as President of the League of Healthcare Professionals and is a national member of the American Association of Healthcare Managers. He supports various charities that include participation in Alex's Lemonade Foundation and in his spare time enjoys coaching little league baseball in Upper Providence. Chuck's interests include breeding horses and he sits as the owner and President of Cash is King Racing Stables. He resides in the Phoenixville, is married and has three children. Elizabeth Sees

Liz was born in Panama City, Florida where her father was stationed while serving in the U.S. Air Force. Her family relocated to the Oxford Circle section of Philadelphia where she was raised from the age of five. Liz received her diploma from Northeastern Hospital School of Nursing and continued her education towards a B.S. in Business Administration. She graduated Magna Cum Laude from LaSalle University where she received her B.S. in Nursing. Liz has been a member of the credit union since 1994 and served as an active volunteer on the Loan Review Committee from 2005 - 2013. She also served on the Supervisory Committee from 2013 - 2016 and was appointed to the Board of Directors in 2016. She presently serves on PFCU's Executive Committee as the Secretary of the Board of Directors. Liz's professional career in Nursing has spanned over 35 years, specializing in Perioperative/ Orthopaedic Nursing. Liz has held several nursing positions for Pennsylvania Hospital from 1987 - 2012. She is currently the Perioperative Nurse Coordinator for Jefferson 3B Orthopaedics and also functions as the Nurse Manager for Preadmission Testing for the Jefferson Bucks County Campus. Liz is a Certified Legal Nurse Consultant and is a member of the National Alliance of Legal Nurse Consultants, the Association of Operating Room Nurses, National Association of Orthopaedic Nurses, and Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing. Her community service includes VP/ Operating Room Coordinator for Operation Walk Philadelphia, President of the Ladies Ancient Order of Hibernians, Division 17. She is also an active member of the Philadelphia Tara Degree Team since 2001. Liz has supported such charities as the Child Abuse Prevention Effort (CAPE), The Blessed Margaret of Castello Home, St. Francis Inn, Aid For Friends, American Cancer Society, National MS Society, Ronald McDonald House, Veterans Multipurpose Center, Disabled Veterans Foundation, and St. Jude's Cancer Research for Children, just to name a few. Her off duty interests include biking and spending time on the Cape May, New Jersey beach, laughing with her friends and family. Liz is married with one son and resides in the Latham Place section of Northeast Philadelphia.

Joseph F. McHugh

Joe has been a credit union member for over 35 years and has served on various committees, including the Loan Review Committee and as Secretary of the Supervisory Committee. Joe was elected to the Board of Directors in 1998. He presently serves on PFCU's Executive Committee as the Treasurer of the Board of Directors. He formerly served as Chairman for six years. Joe was born and raised in the Tacony and Mayfair sections of Northeast Philadelphia and is a graduate of Father Judge High School. Joe was employed with the City of Philadelphia's First Judicial District for 32 years. He served as Director of Case Management for the Family Court Division, where he retired. Joe has received numerous certificates for continuing education and was honored with the Herbert R. Weiman Jr. Award from the Philadelphia Bar Association. He received his B.A. in Criminal Justice from Temple University. His memberships include Founding Member of the Ancient Order of Hibernians (AOH) Division 17, the Pennsylvania Domestic Relations Association, the Pennsylvania Association of Court Management, the National Child Support Enforcement Association and parishioner of St. Bernard's R.C. Church. He supports various charities that include the ALS Association where he has been an active participant in the annual Walk for ALS along with the Annual St. Patrick's Day Parade. An avid sports fan, Joe has enjoyed coaching little league baseball throughout the years for Mayfair Athletic Club and Vogt Community Association. He is married with two children and resides in the Northeast section of Philadelphia.

Kathleen Meyer

Kathy was born and raised in the Juniata section of Philadelphia and is a graduate of Little Flower High School. She has been a credit union member for over 43 years and has served as an active volunteer since 1994, serving on the Loan Review and Supervisory Committee where she was appointed Chairperson. Kathy has served on the Board of Directors since 2009. She started her career working at local branches of Philadelphia National Bank and for several attorneys in the City. Kathy started working at the City of Philadelphia in 1978 in various legal and judicial capacities. Her extensive experience includes the Common Pleas Court of Philadelphia where she served as Past Secretary and Past President of the Board of the Judicial Secretaries Association for more than 20 years. In addition, she has also worked as a Jewelry Consultant for the past 36 years. She retired from her position as the Communications Director and Court Administrative Officer to the Administrative Judge of the Common Pleas Trial Division. Kathy is a supporter and volunteer for Autism Awareness, the American Cancer Society and the Multiple Sclerosis Society. She resides with her husband in Center City, Philadelphia and has three stepsons.

Michele Willmunder

Michele was born and raised in the Mayfair and Holmesburg sections of Northeast Philadelphia. She graduated from Saint Hubert's Catholic High School for Girls in 1998. Michele continued her education at Temple University receiving a Bachelor of Arts degree in Journalism in 2002 followed by a Master of Arts degree in Professional and Business Communications and a graduate certificate in Social and New Media from La Salle University, where she was awarded Outstanding Graduate Student in 2014. She has been an active member of the credit union for over 25 years. Starting in July 2015, she has served as Chairperson of the Payroll Services Committee and has also been a committee member for the Loan Review and the Supervisory Committees before being elected to the Board of Directors in 2021. Her professional career includes previously working as a journal manager editing, proofreading, and publishing health science journals for 15 years. She currently works in digital marketing for the global information analytics and publishing organization, Elsevier. Beginning in 1991 to present day, Michele has participated in, been a member of, or supported several community service organizations and charities including the Elsevier Women's Network & Allies, RELX RE Cares, Philadelphia's Annual Holiday Party for the Homeless, Police Athletic League, Philadelphia St. Patrick's Day Parade, Susan G. Komen Race for The Cure, Special Olympics of Pennsylvania Polar Plunge, Congenital Heart Walk of Delaware Valley, National Multiple Sclerosis Society, Alex's Lemonade Stand Foundation for Childhood Cancer, The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, American Cancer Society, The Hand2Paw Foundation, the Philadelphia Animal Welfare Society, and the Pennsylvania SPCA. In her spare time, she enjoys reading, writing, cooking, visiting the beach with friends and family, and health and wellness activities. Michele resides in Philadelphia with her family.

Paulette Chambers

Paulette was born and raised in Philadelphia. She is a graduate cum laude of Peirce College with an A.S. in business administration and is a member of Phi Theta Kappa Honors Society. Paulette has been a member of the Philadelphia Federal Credit Union since 1971 and served on various committees as an active volunteer for over 30 years. She has been a member of the Supervisory Committee and was Chairperson of the Loan Policy and Loan Review Committees. Today, Paulette serves on the Board of Directors' Executive Committee. She is also a member of the Asset and Liability Management Committee. Employed by the City of Philadelphia for over 36 years, Paulette held various positions from a Clerk Messenger to an Applications Programmer III. She is an active member of the Urban League, the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People, the African American Museum of Philadelphia, the Schomburg Center, Smithsonian Institution, WHYY, WRTI-Temple University, the Franklin Institute and the Free Library of Philadelphia Foundation. Paulette also serves as a member of the West Oak Lane Business Association and three senior centers including the Center in the Park, Martin Luther King and West Oak Lane. In her spare time, she teaches line dancing for the St. Peter Claver Junior Auxiliary at St. Athanasius School and the Kings Men class at MLK Senior Center. She supports numerous charities that include Alex's Lemonade Stand Foundation, American Diabetes Association, American Heart Association, Career Wardrobe, Center for Community Arts, Feed the Children, Habitat for Humanity, Mercy Neighborhood Ministries, Philabundance, Susan G. Shawn Hagerty

Shawn has been a credit union member for over 25 years. He was born and raised in Northeast Philadelphia, where he attended Abraham Lincoln High School and is currently pursuing a B.S. in Business Administration at the Community College of Philadelphia. Shawn has actively served on the Loan Review Committee from 2011 - 2016 and the Supervisory Committee from 2016 - 2020. He was elected to the Board of Directors in 2021. Shawn has been employed with the City of Philadelphia, First Judicial District since 1997. He is a member of the Domestic Relations Association of Pennsylvania which is a group of Child Support professionals from throughout the 67 Pennsylvania counties that provide training and knowledge-sharing dedicated to improving child support services in Pennsylvania. Shawn has supported numerous charities over the years but most enthusiastically the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation and American Diabetes Association. In his spare time, he enjoys spending time with his family at the Jersey shore. He is married with two children and two grandchildren and resides in the Northeast section of Philadelphia.

Vincent Colaberdino

Vince was born and raised in Northeast Philadelphia where he attended Archbishop Ryan High School. He received his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Duquesne University. Vince has been a member of the credit union since 1997 and served as an active volunteer on the Loan Review Committee for 15 years. He also served on the Supervisory Committee and was the Chairman from 2013 through April of 2014. In 2015, Vince was elected to the Board of Directors. His professional career has been in health care management for over 27 years. He has held Account Management positions for several large corporations, including McKesson Health Solutions, United Healthcare, and Aetna Better Health of Pennsylvania. Vince is currently the Director of Practice Management at Aledade, Inc. He is a member of the Philadelphia Chapter of Duquesne Alumni, American Health Insurance Plans (AHIP), and the International Federation of Employment Benefit Plans. Vince has supported and participated in many charitable events including Autism Speaks, the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure, Habitat for Humanity, and Philadelphia Catholic Charities. In his spare time, he coaches baseball for his children. He is married with two sons and resides in Havertown.
