ROGERS - Key Persons

Amy Kirk

Amy grew up in Montana, and when her parents built a home, the process fascinated her. Her aptitude for numbers and organization led her to Rogers GC, where these abilities are perfectly aligned with the needs of the firm. She finds the most rewarding aspect of her job to be taking care of the project teams, and providing them with what they need for their best work. When the clients experience their new homes, Amy takes pride in having provided them with clear and precise information on the financial and often complicated processes of construction. Learning from the many artists, architects, designers, and craftsmen is an inspiring aspect of her work. She takes the greatest pride, however, in raising her daughter to find passion in all areas of life and to succeed at anything she wants to do. A favorite Emerson quote of Amy's is: "Unless you try to do something beyond what you have already mastered, you will never grow."

Jason Ramdeen

Jason's interest in the construction field began at a young age when he would inspect the construction site next door to his home, taking in how the process worked by talking to the builders. He attended the University of Technology in Jamaica and then moved to the US to study at Florida International University in Miami, Florida. As an estimator, he learned that one of the most important things to know is how to accurately assess and estimate project costs. This involved understanding various factors such as materials, labor, equipment, overhead, and potential risks. Effective communication and collaboration with project managers, suppliers, and subcontractors are also crucial for successful estimation. Additionally, staying updated on industry trends and local regulations is essential to ensure that estimates are accurate and competitive. Jason's passion for travel and meeting new people feeds his sense of curiosity and desire to learn, but of paramount value is his family, who inspire him to be better and to grow every day. He is also a world-class Triathlete, competing worldwide.

John Rogers

John thrives on challenging the boundaries of what is possible. Growing up, his family moved every year or two, forming his ability to adapt to change and solidifying his problem-solving skills. After graduating from the University of Miami with a Bachelor's Degree in Economics, John moved to New York to work in finance. His insatiable curiosity and desire to be challenged brought him back to Florida, where he established a high-end construction firm. John's passion for learning and absorbing facts developed into an encyclopedic knowledge of construction, materials, and workmanship. He learned that to run a successful business, communication, and consistency were key elements, and by understanding the needs of everyone involved in a project allows him to put together the perfect team to handle any job. This ability comes from a deep understanding of each individual's potential and his commitment to mentoring the next generation of builders. In his spare time, John goes on adventures with his family and takes advantage of anything to do with the ocean or mountains, including fly fishing, surfing, snowboarding, skiing, and hiking.

Russell Novak

When Russell graduated from the University of Florida with a bachelor's degree in Economics in 2008, he found himself in a difficult job market and was presented with the opportunity to work as a laborer on a concrete crew. During this experience, construction and building became a passion, enough so that he went back to school for his Master's Degree in Construction Management to shift from the field labor side to management. He quickly developed a love for problem-solving, managing multiple cultures and personalities every day, and seeing the physical results of his hard work. As a construction manager of some of the finest estates in the world, he understands that every home is a commissioned piece of artwork. Working for clients who are passionate about their home, and with design teams that take pride in the creation of each masterpiece inspires him to give his very best to align with the level of operation that the project deserves. But being a husband and father is his greatest passion, followed by travel and the outdoors, particularly fly fishing.
