Hema graduated from Guy's Hospital in London in 1996, after which she worked in General Dental Practice. Her hospital appointments include working in an Oral and Maxillofacial unit where she was able to enhance her Oral Surgery skills and become a member of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons in Glasgow. Her experience in the Restorative Department at Liverpool Dental Hospital and the Special Care setting of North Wing Hospital, amongst many dental specialists, has enhanced her skills for General and Cosmetic dentistry.
Hema has completed the postgraduate diploma in Conscious sedation, at Kings College London in 2009. She is able to offer dental treatment under intravenous sedation for very nervous patients.
Hema is also skilled in providing dental implants and has acquired a certificate in Dental Implantology. She is an experienced Facial Aesthetics practitioner. Her training in the advanced use of Botox and Dermal fillers was with one of the country's leading cosmetic doctors, Dr Xavier.
Dr Raluca Ursache qualified as a dentist in Iasi, Romania at the University of Medicine and Pharmacy "Gr. T. Popa" in 2016. She enjoys all aspects of general dentistry and has a keen interest in Restorative treatments, endodontics (root canal treatments) and minimally invasive cosmetic procedures giving her patients the smile desired using a conservative approach.
She is currently pursuing her interest further by studying for a postgraduate qualification in MSc Restorative Dental Practice at the prestigious Eastman Dental Institute in London.
Raluca's gentle approach to patients is well suited to nervous patients. No matter how complex the procedure might be, she will put you at ease.
Her hobbies are: travelling to new places, reading books and watching movies. She also spends most of her free time playing with her forever friend Tokyo, a British shorthair cat.
Dr Patel was educated at Bedford School and then went on to qualify as a Dental Surgeon at the University of Leeds.
Richard qualified from the University of Dundee in 1999 and moved to London after qualifying. Richard aspires to the highest standard of dentistry with cutting edge technology using the latest techniques. He has an interest in Cerec 3D technology (one visit permanent crowns and veneers) and went on to successfully place in excess of 10,000 restorations in hundreds of happy patients some of VIP status. This is the technology that Richard has brought to St Peters Studio Dental Clinic.
Richard has a special interest in orthopaedic and interceptive orthodontics treating both children from the age of 6, and adults using a variety of appliances from fixed braces to invisible braces. Richard has completed the certificate in implantology and is experienced in placing and restoring implants from single tooth implants to "teeth in a day". He also has experience in restoring zirconia implants. His has an interest is holistic dental care and health and is passionate about patient detoxification and well being while being one of a handful of dentists in the U.K. who have helped to develop a protocol for safe mercury removal in toxic patients.
He is a member of the IAOMT - The International Association of Oral Medicine and Toxicology, BSEM- British Society go Ecological Medicine, BSMSD- British Society for Mercury Safe Dentistry.
