A native of Benicia California, Patrick McGuire retired from the U.S. Army as a Master Sergeant, serving over 14 years on active duty. He was assigned to the 82nd Airborne Division at Fort Bragg, North Carolina where first deployed to Afghanistan in July of 2002, and to Iraq in August of 2003. In December of 2005, Patrick was assigned to the Ranger Training Brigade where he served as a Ranger Instructor at the 5th Ranger Training Battalion in Dahlonega, Georgia.
