In this article, I describe some of the history of rapid application development, relying heavily on source material from Wikipedia and various books written over the years, with the hope of demonstrating how many of the tools that are becoming commonplace in modern software development are, in fact, comprised of many proven practices from our rich software development heritage, heavily influenced by RAD...
