In 1965, with the support of the Valley Ministerial Conference, the concept for Valley Interfaith Food and Clothing Bank was born. For over 25 years the program services were housed in 3 different church facilities as special needs expanded. In 1995, Jim Pease, Jr. raised money to purchase a building at 420 W. Wyoming Ave. to provide affordable facilities for nonprofit agencies to serve the community... Our dynamic team of Board trustees, staff, and volunteers are the backbone of our success. Committed to building a better community, hundreds of volunteers donate their time to working with their neighbors... It is our mission to partner with our community to provide necessary resources and build self-sustainability. By doing so, we strive to reduce the risk of hunger, crisis, and harm/victimization many of our most vulnerable community members face.
