Zimmerman Wildlife was founded in 1985. It began when Marcus Zimmerman took a correspondence course from the Outdoor Life Magazine offered by Northwestern School of Taxidermy for $15.99 at the age of 15. After taking the course the first mount was a Carrier Pigeon and thus began the business as "Zimmerman's Taxidermy". The first few years depended on local work and Mr. Zimmerman worked other part time jobs until the small business generated enough revenue to support his family of 3, Wife Lorraine and son Winston...
