Cottonwood Center was founded in November, 2014 as an oasis where children, youth, adults, and families can take a breath, let down their guard and grow. Mary Wandrei and Scott Barsuhn designed the physical space from the ground up to address sensory, play, and safety needs of our guests, and to provide flexible spaces for providers to address clients' interests... Our passion and specialty in the last six years has been to promote exploring, connecting, and growing for SCIGNNeTs: sensitive, creative, intense, gifted, and/or non-neurotypical individuals.
