Dr. Diana Carrau is a Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeon who specializes in aesthetic surgery of the face, breast, and body. She obtained her Bachelor of Arts from Columbia University in the City of New York, and thereafter, was accepted to Teach For America, educating children in low-income communities.
Dr. Carrau obtained her medical degree from The Ohio State University. A top performer, Dr. Carrau was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society and accepted into the rigorous integrated plastic surgery residency at The Ohio State University where she trained with world renowned leaders in aesthetic and reconstructive surgery.
Following residency, Dr. Carrau sought specialized training in facial aesthetic surgery and completed the prestigious International Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery Fellowship in The Netherlands.
Dr. Carrau is known for her attention to detail and dedication to excellent and personalized care.
Dr. Francesca Lewis is a Florida native and Dermatologist certified by the American Board of Dermatology who specializes in general and cosmetic Dermatology. She graduated with a Bachelor of Science from Vanderbilt University in Nashville, Tennessee. She subsequently attended Emory University School of Medicine in Atlanta, Georgia, where she was elected into the prestigious medical honor society, Alpha Omega Alpha.
Dr. Lewis completed her internship and residency in Dermatology at the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston where she gained extensive experience in the surgical management of skin cancer as well as medical and cosmetic Dermatology. She served as Chief Resident during her final year of training. She has presented at numerous Dermatology meetings and published articles in notable Dermatology journals, including the Journal of the American Academy of Dermatology. Dr. Lewis is a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society, the Women's Dermatologic Society, the American Society for Dermatologic Surgery, the American Academy of Dermatology and the Palm Beach County Society of Dermatology.
Before relocating back to Florida, Dr. Lewis worked in a prestigious cosmetic Dermatology practice in Silicon Valley and gained extensive experience with laser treatments and cosmetic injectables at one of the country's largest cosmetic and laser centers. Dr. Lewis has been practicing in Palm Beach County since 2015. As she and her husband have made Delray Beach their permanent home, she decided to open Delray Dermatology & Cosmetic Center to provide better Dermatologic care for her community. Her desire was to open a Dermatology practice that could fulfill all of their skin treatment needs. Dr. Lewis enjoys all aspects of Dermatology including acne, rosacea, and psoriasis, as well as the diagnosis and surgical management of skin cancer. She has considerable experience in skin cancer diagnosis and surgical management and is meticulous with surgical technique and outcomes. She also has a special interest in cosmetic Dermatology and has vast experience with cosmetic injectables including Botox and dermal fillers. Dr. Lewis is an AMI Trainer for Allergan Aesthetics and trains injectors in our area on how to inject Botox and Juvederm fillers. She practices with meticulous attention to detail and provides an individualized treatment plan for each patient. Her goal is to provide quality, compassionate and comprehensive medical care, as well as to combine safe and effective laser treatments and cosmetic procedures for a natural looking end result.
In her spare time, Dr. Lewis enjoys spending time outdoors with her husband, who is a Radiologist in Boca Raton, their son, their rescue lab mix, as well as traveling, cooking, yoga and barre pilates classes. She is actively involved in the local community, on the board of the Boca Raton Regional Hospital Foundation Go Pink luncheon and a key sponsor of the Bethesda Hospital Women of Grace luncheon.
Dr. Kathleen Herne is a board certified Dermatologist and fellowship trained Mohs micrographic surgeon. Although born in Kansas City, she claims "Texan" status, residing in the Lone Star State from middle school through medical school. Dr. Herne graduated cum laude from University of Dallas with a Bachelor of Science in Biology and earned her medical degree from University of Texas Health Science Center in Houston.
Dr. Herne completed an Internal Medicine internship at Loyola University in Maywood, Illinois. Following her internship, she completed a research fellowship at The University of Texas at Galveston, conducting multiple research studies of antiviral drugs and vaccines. Dr. Herne's Dermatology career then began in earnest with her residency at the University of Alabama at Birmingham, serving as chief Dermatology resident during her third and final year.
A fellow of the American College of Mohs surgery, Dr. Herne completed a post- residency year of an extensive dermatology surgery training at the University of California at San Francisco. Only fellowship-trained Mohs surgeons receive rigorous hands-on direction and education from experienced practitioners. Trainees are exposed to rare and difficult tumors as well as complex wound reconstruction.
In her 20 years of practice, Dr. Herne has performed more than 10,000 cases of Mohs surgery and practiced in Palm Beach County since 2008. Her extensive experience has taught her to respect skin cancers, particularly in certain patient populations at-risk for aggressive tumors, including organ transplant recipients and immunocompromised persons.
In addition to Mohs surgery, Dr. Herne also has extensive experience with lasers, cosmetic injectables and general dermatology. Prior to moving to South Florida, she practiced in Austin,Texas and St. Petersburg, Florida. She enjoys cooking, fly fishing in the Bahamas and Florida Keys, strength training, traveling and volunteering at the Caridad Clinic in Boynton Beach, serving the indigent and underserved for eight years and counting.
Her memberships include the American Academy of Dermatology, American College of Mohs Surgery, American Society for Mohs Surgery, American Society for Dermatologic Surgery, American Society for Lasers in Medicine and Surgery, Florida Society for Dermatologic Surgery, Palm Beach County Dermatologic Society.
Hillary is a Florida native with a lifelong passion for dermatology. She is excited to be a part of the Delray Beach community and join our practice where she aspires to treat a variety of skin conditions. She received her Bachelors of Science in Biology from the University of Florida in 2017, graduating Cum Laude - she is proud to call herself a gator! Hillary obtained over 4,000 clinical hours in dermatology prior to acceptance into the Wake Forest School of Medicine Physician Assistant program in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. She has completed rigorous preceptorships in several areas of medicine including dermatology, otolaryngology, general surgery, and pediatric surgery. She received her Master's degree in Medical Science with Honor's Distinction and was awarded the Bowman Excellence in Research Award for her Master's thesis on Racial Disparities in Medicine. She is ecstatic to be back in sunny South Florida to begin her career in dermatology and call Delray Beach her forever home!
Hillary has passions for both general and cosmetic dermatology, with specific interests in Skin cancers, Keloid scarring, Acne, and Atopic Dermatitis. She is a member of the Florida Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants where she participates in dermatology learning conferences and connects with other dermatology PAs and Physicians. Hillary is now accepting patients of all ages and we are excited to have her as a member of our Delray Dermatology team!
Lorraine Kryvicky is a certified PA.She graduated cum laude in 2001 from Alderson Broadus with a bachelor of science degree with her major in medical science. Prior to her PA studies, she obtained a bachelor's degree in physiology from Michigan State University with a specialization in health and humanities. She then worked as a paramedic and trauma tech in the ER. She joined Delray Dermatology in 2019 with over 18 years of experience as a dermatology PA specializing in general dermatology, lasers and cosmetics. Additionally she has attended and assisted in multiple training programs in aesthetics and dermatology.

Paula Parra is a Certified Medical Aesthetician with over 4 of experience working in both Medical Spas and Dermatology. Paula's experience has been in educating, treating and supporting all of her patients' skin care needs and creating customized treatment plans that will achieve optimum results for all in her care. Paula specializes in addressing skin conditions such as acne, aging, and sun-damaged skin, and is adept at determining the best course of skin care for patient's unique skin types and individual needs.
