Jordan has worked as product manager for Copia Global, an online marketplace for rural and peri-urban consumers in East Africa that utilizes mobile technology. Jordan was recently the director of research at TechChange. He graduated from Duke University and has an MA in International Science and Technology Policy at the Elliott School of International Affairs at George Washington University. His concentration is in the application of emerging technologies to international development applications. He has particular experience in the use of mobile applications for the delivery of public health and medical services. Jordan believes in the potential of Free/Open Source software to advance peace-building and development goals and is most excited about the ease of replicating, scaling and customizing open solutions. He is looking forward to supporting the talented East African developers who are working to create innovative technological solutions.

An avid social entrepreneur, Kennedy is the founder of Innovation Kenya. He is experienced in design thinking, development economics and technology. Kennedy has worked on mobile technology applications that cater to financial inclusion and supply chain management. He has worked as the lead researcher at Renewable Energy Climate Change Technologies at KPMG East Africa and a strategy consultant at a global Australian innovation firm, ThinkPlace. Kennedy has a M.S. in Development Practice from the University of California, Berkeley, where he was awarded the Big Ideas Innovation Award from the Blum Center for Developing Economies. He also received a B.A. in Political Science and Economics at Middlebury College, where he was a recipient of the Wheeler Scholarship and a fellow at both the Program on Creativity and Innovation and the Middlebury Center for Social Entrepreneurship.
