Mr Dalitso Nseula

Dalitso Nseula is the Management Development Consultant responsible for delivery of long and short term trainings, consultancy and advisory services. Mr Edward Mwalabu

Mr. Edward Mwalabu holds a Bachelors Degree in Business Administration (University of Malawi- 1999) and a Post Graduate Diploma in Marketing (Chartered Institute of Marketing ,UK- 2003) and Masters Degree in Strategic Management (University of Derby, UK - 2013). He is a Management Development Consultant at MIM. He has fourteen years extensive experience in Sales and Marketing in various roles which he acquired while working for private and public sector organizations in Malawi. He has undertaken various activities at MIM such as Market Survey, publication of promotional materials such as calendars, brochures, prospectuses, branded materials and banners. His job involves placing adverts in various media channels such as website, newspapers, television and radio. He also teaches on MIM undergraduate programmes in strategic marketing modules. He is the first point of contact for customers at the Institute and therefore handles all customer enquiries and requests for training courses.

Mr. Alex Chanza

Alex Chanza is a multi-skilled consultant with solid understanding of ICT from strategic to technical issues. His expertise includes communication, presentation, project management, report writing and data analysis skills. He is responsible for Short term training, long term training and consultancies. He is also the coordinator of HIV & AIDS training programmes at MIM in collaboration with the Regional AIDS Training Network (RATN). Alex is a Senior Management Development Consultant and an accredited Lecturer for the University of Derby (UK). He is also a Local Tutor for the University of Bolton MSC in Supply Chain Management in E-business strategy and models and Research Skills for Business and Management Modules. He is also a supervisor for various research papers for Universities of Derby, Leeds Metropolitan and Bolton. Alex's core competencies span across the fields of Information Systems and Strategic Management. He is involved in marketing, designing and delivery of generic and in-house courses in Management Information Systems and Strategic Management in addition to conducting Research and Consultancies for the Public and Private sector. Alex has been involved in the in a number of consultancies such as conducting ICT skills assessment in the public sector including vacancy levels and the extent to which vacancies are eroding the availability of skills in public service and recommendation of the critical ICT skills in Government. In another assignment Alex conducted Capacity assessment of ICT in the Malawi Government in four sector ministries including the Department of Information Systems and Technology Management Services (DISTMS) in partnership with Atos Consulting, UK. Alex has a Master of Science degree in Strategic Management from University of Derby, UK and a first degree is in Computer Science and Economics obtained from the University of Malawi.

Mr. Clemence Elwyn

Mr. Clemence Elwyn genesis Jere is an Assistant Registrar Blantyre Campus, Accounting and Finance, Reprography, Security and computer knowledge in all Microsoft packages and data analysis using excel and SPSS. He holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) - Malawi institute of Management; Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) - Cyprus Institute of Marketing -BVI: Diploma in Accounting - ICAM. Over 24 years professional experience in various departments within MIM. Worked as a team member on Strategic Plan for Malawi Defence Force. Desk officer for M4 health project done by MIM. Key personnel for operationalization for Student Management System for MIM.

Mr. Joseph Chalamba

Joseph Chalamba is an organizational development and communications expert. As Management Development Consultant at the Malawi Institute of Management, he is responsible for delivery of short term training, consultancy and advisory services and long-term training interventions. Joseph has developed governance structures and strategic plans for ESCOM Ltd., Malawi Accountants Board, Competition and Fair Trade Commission (CFTC), Centre for Environmental Policy and Advocacy (CEPA), Lusibilo Community Orphan Based Care Organization, Sugarcane Growers Association of Malawi, Lakeshore Cane Growers Association and Association for Early Childhood Development in Malawi, among others. As communication expert with sound background in multimedia production and journalism, Joseph developed an Information, Education and Communications Strategy for the Ministry of Local Government, developed video/documentary scripts and videos and undertook media research in various areas. As team leader, Joseph has also coordinated and facilitated mentorship of boards and management of grantee partners for Tilitonse Fund in Corporate Governance and Leadership in addition to coordinating and documenting high level programmes for COMESA (Aflatoxin International Workshop, 2014), the National Assembly Parliamentary Training Programme (PTP) and the Department of Statutory Corporations Corporate Governance and Leadership for Boards and Management of Parastatal in Malawi. He has delivered short-term and long term training interventions for various client organizations in team building, effective supervisory skills, customer care, leadership skills, public relations, behavioural studies and marketing, problem-solving and decision-making and effective communication skills. Joseph holds an MSc in Strategic Management (Merit) from the University of Derbyshire, UK and a BA in Industrial Psychology and English from the University of Malawi, Chancellor College.

Mr. Peter Chiligo

Peter Chiligo is a an expert in Strategy development and Restructuring, Development and Project evaluation. Peter is a Management Development Consultant responsible for carrying out consultancy work, designing and conducting short term training courses and delivering on Long term programmes. Peter has more than fifteen (15) years experience working in the public and private sectors at various managerial positions, including working as a Project Manager for FinMark Trust of South Africa. He has vast experience in Operations Management especially in the fields of Quality Assurance and Production Management. He has five (5) years experience in conducting Research and Consultancy in areas of management and Development. Peter is also highly experienced in Value Chain Analysis, Process Mapping, Strategy Development, Project Evaluation and Managing and Coordinating Surveys. Peter holds MBA from Maastricht School of Management and ESAMI, BSc. in Technical Education and Diploma in Engineering from the University of Malawi.

Mrs Christine C. Siame

Mrs. Christine C. Siame is an academician with vast experience in Business Management and Administration; Accounting and Finance; Consultancy; Research; Lecturing and Training; and Banking. She has more than 9 years work experience in academia and over Seventeen years of experience in both public and private sectors as well as the Non- Governmental Organizations within Malawi and the United Kingdom. Previously, worked as Principal Lecturer in the Finance Department at Mpemba Staff Development Institute and successfully coordinated the World Bank Institutional Development Project II (IDPII). She has worked at Multi-Country Posts and Telecommunication Training Centre as a Senior Lecturer in Management studies as well as done Research and Consultancy for various national and multinational corporations and organizations. She was an examiner, marker and assessor for the then Public Accountants Examination Council of Malawi (PAEC) in her free time. Before she joined MIM-Business School, she was a Lecturer at the University of Blantyre Synod in Economics within the Faculty of Commerce. In addition to academia, she has extensive experience at senior level as a Banker at Standard Bank Malawi Limited in different managerial portfolios such as Home Loans (Mortgage), Personal and Business Banking Products, Vehicle and Asset Finance Credit Origination (Corporate and Business Banking) as well as in the Retail Credit. Some of her key successes at the Bank were in the migration of the Personal and Business Banking Credit function from branch based to central Credit Department; centralizing the Credit function of the vehicle and Asset Finance section; established and managed the administrative work flows in the Home Loans (mortgage) Centre. In addition, she was the key resource person in establishing the Extended Retail Lending Module (ERLM) system for retail credit facilities including the Maven System on the insurance products among others and providing her expertise to teams in Malawi, South Africa, and Zambia. Christine has Ten years of international work experience in the United Kingdom as a Lead Care Manager where she developed and maintained working relationships with different professionals and support systems including the National Health Service (NHS) and the Care Quality Commission (CQC) in England. Furthermore, she also offered her expertise in the Training Unit within the Charitable Organization involved in Leadership and Capacity Development. Christine holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) and Bachelor of Commerce in Accountancy (BCOM - Accountancy) from Africa University in Zimbabwe and University of Malawi, the Polytechnic, respectively. Her research interests include but not limited to Business Management and Administration, Accounting and Finance, and Credit Risk Management.
