PIERCE CONSULTING WORKS

Pierce Consulting Works LLC was established in 2004 as Consulting Works. It was first retained by an international nonprofit client to provide marketing and communications expertise. Following that engagement in 2006 a DC-based social venture firm retained Consulting Works to launch a new nonprofit organization with a mission to increase the representation of minorities on nonprofit boards and in executive leadership positions in nonprofits. Wanda was then asked to serve as the first year's Executive Director. Wanda led the entity from the conceptual phase to a fully operational organization. The startup organization was recognized in the Chronicle of Philanthropy. After Wanda was recruited to lead her local community foundation, the practice was inactive for 9 years until being relaunched in 2017 as Pierce Consulting Works LLC.
