Christo has over 15 years' experience working in Technology and Transformation focusing on the not-for-profit sector. He currently works as a Director of Digital for a London-based social care provi der. Christo is passionate about the positive impact technology can have in making products and services accessible to a wide audience. Christo joined the Board in 2023 and is looking forward to applying his experience in technology, change and transformation to the benefit of the TBCU and fellow-members. Christo has worked and lived in and around Richmond for over 20 years. He enjoys travelling and paddleboarding, often combining the two activities when the opportunity presents itself.

Edward de Waal

Edward has spent many years working in the finance industry. He also has a background in IT. As a member of the Thamesbank board he focuses on the regulatory and technology aspects of the Credit Union. Edward is married with two children and has lived in Richmond for over 20 years. He enjoys walking and cycling as well as travel. He is also involved in Scouting within the District as Chair of a local Scout Group. Having joined the board in 2020, Edward is excited about the opportunities for Thamesbank to continue to develop as a local Credit Union and deliver on its aims to provide fair and affordable financial services to the local community.

Jan H Doskar

Jan has spent his entire career in Financial Services where he has held various managerial positions, been a principal consultant and a business development director, to name but a few. He has worked with several global organisations including Visa International and EuroConex and is a qualified IFA. As part of his spare time activities, Jan is a member of a local Rotary Club and its past President. He was also chairing the Trustees and was Assistant Governor for Rotary South. His focus is International projects and teaching children at a Primary school chess (Chess club). He is also connected to the Czech community and is a member of the British Czech Chamber of Commerce. His hobbies are travelling, opera, gardening and providing informal financial advice to friends (as a past Stockbroker and IFA). Skiing is his sport of choice.

Malcolm Levi

Malcolm grew up in Birmingham, went to the local grammar school and after a degree in Modern History at Oxford, qualified as a chartered Accountant with what is now Deloittes. After a period in Industry with Unilever, he joined the housing world and his roles included being an assistant director at Hammersmith and Fulham and chief executive of two of the largest housing associations in England; PCHA, (now Notting Hill Genesis) for nine years and Home Group for ten years. After retirement, he has held a number of non-exec and advisory roles, including being Vice Chair of Peabody, Chair of Audit at Richmond Housing Partnership and an Advisor to Savills Affordable Housing consultancy. He is currently Chair of Populo Homes. He is married with two sons and six grandchildren and has lived in Richmond for forty years

Matt Johnson

Mukesh Malhotra - Chairman

For over 30 years, Mukesh has played a role in the international corporate world in areas such as Risk, Audit, Compliance and Business Management, with such prestigious names as British Airways. In more recent years, he has undertaken several, largely non-executive, roles with pension funds and within the Third Sector. Mukesh has a Master's Degree in Management & IT, and also holds a specialist qualification of CISM - Certified Information Security Manager - issued by ISACA. With particular skills and experience in asset allocation and strategy, he has also acted as Chair of a Local Pension Panel which managed a fund selection in excess of £1.2 billion. He has also presided as Chair to many charities and Third Sector organisations. In his "downtime", through his involvement with the Hounslow Rotary, he has co-founded a project called "Rotary World's Greatest Meal to Help End Polio", which has helped to save over 16.5 Million children from Polio. He had been a Councillor & the Deputy Mayor Of The London Borough of Hounslow during 2017/18. He is married with three children, he has also become a grandfather of three.

Nic Dowler

Nic has a BA in Business Studies and has over 30 years banking experience specialising in leveraged finance and change management. Latterly he held a number of senior management roles at an international bank in the City. He has been a resident in Richmond-Upon-Thames for over 35 years and has recently been appointed a Trustee of Richmond Council for Voluntary Services. He is also a school governor and Treasurer of the local SW London SSAFA (the Armed Forces charity) Branch. Recently retired Nic hopes to bring his banking knowledge and experience to Thamesbank as he believes that credit unions will have an increasingly important role to play in allowing people who have previously been financially disadvantaged to access the banking system in a fair and ethical way. In his free time Nic likes to watch a wide variety of sports.

Roxanne Glaud

Roxanne has an MSc in Transport Planning and Management and currently works for a European Transport provider in their UK operations. Roxanne has been involved in the voluntary sector for many years, previous roles have included President of the Rotaract Club of Trinidad and Tobago, volunteer at a Marie Curie Hospice and a school governor. She was recently appointed as a trustee at Hampton Pool Trust and is also a school governor. Roxanne believes in the aims and ambitions of Thamesbank to provide affordable borrowing and saving opportunities for residents who would have previously been marginalised by other financial institutions. She hopes to bring her expertise in ensuring the continued growth of Thamesbank by enabling greater awareness of its benefits to local residents.Roxanne is an avid traveller, enjoys walking challenges, swimming, gardening and watching sports.She has lived in Richmond for the last six years and is kept busy raising her two teenage step-daughters and her two-year old dog.

Victoria Heath

Originally from Sunderland, Victoria is a Chartered Marketing professional with over 20 years of experience in senior marketing roles for consumer-focused financial services brands including RBS, Tesco Bank and Virgin Money. In addition to her role at Thamesbank she is also the chair of the Chartered Institute of Marketing's Benevolent Fund a charity aimed at supporting CIM members in hardship. Victoria believes in inclusion within financial services and the positive role that organisations can play in the lives of consumers through the provision of safe and affordable access to credit.
