Dr Tim Wahlin

Dr Tim Wahlin is a clinical psychologist who is qualified and experienced in assessing and providing the appropriate evidence-based treatment for a range of emotional and behavioural issues presented by children, young people and their families. Tim also has extensive experience in assisting adults presenting with psychological disorders (such as depression or anxiety), or relationship problems, or those struggling with life stressors. Tim has worked for more than twenty seven years in hospital based and community health settings where he has provided therapy for individuals, couples and families, conducted therapeutic groups for children and adults, and given supervision to nursing staff, medical staff, psychologists and other allied health staff. Tim has a doctorate in clinical psychology and post graduate qualifications in family therapy. When working with clients individually, he draws on the different theories and modalities in which he has received doctoral level training. These include attachment and psychodynamic theories, Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), and Schema Therapy. If Tim is seeing young clients and their families Tim utilises the skills he developed in his family therapy training. Tim's relationship work with clients is further enhanced by his understanding of the Circle of Security (COS) therapeutic approach. Tim is accredited to run Circle of Security groups. Tim has an interest in perinatal mental health and has often conducted transition to parenthood groups for fathers. . Tim holds endorsement from the Psychology Board of Australia to practice as a clinical psychologist. He is a Board approved supervisor. Tim is also a full member of the Australian Psychological Society (APS) and the APS College of Clinical Psychologists.

Lydia Senediak

Lydia has been working with children, adolescents and adults in public and private mental health, community and educational settings for over 30 years. She is experienced in the assessment and treatment of a wide variety of clinical concerns including anxiety and mood disorders, trauma, grief, life-cycle transitions, autistic spectrum disorder, relationship difficulties, perinatal mental health and psychological adjustment to medical conditions. Her therapeutic orientations include Cognitive Behaviour Therapy, Interpersonal Therapy, Narrative Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy and Attachment-based interventions. Lydia provides supervision to a range of professionals including psychologists, school counsellors, doctors and executive staff from the corporate and educational sectors. Lydia is a full member of both the Australian Psychological Society (APS) and the APS College of Clinical Psychologists. She holds clinical endorsement from the Psychology Board of Australia and is also a Board approved supervisor.
