Andrew spent seven years at KPMG, leading and managing performance improvement, turnaround, and financial restructuring projects. Andrew moved to US technology fund Marlin Equity Partners in 2015 where he focussed on M&A and portfolio company performance improvement. He joined VGC in 2019 and has risen to become COO.
Andrew has an MEng in Aerospace Engineering from The University of Manchester where he later returned to get his MBA.

Cheryl is a global marketing leader with over two decades elevating brands, scaling billion-dollar organisations and driving innovation for some of the world's most high-profile companies including Beats by Dre (Apple), Converse (Nike Inc.), Tommy Hilfiger and David Beckham (ABG).

Dan started out as a journalist for The Guardian before moving into lifestyle magazines, first at Men's Health in London, then as editor of Time Out in Sydney. In 2014 he moved to New York to head up the US arm of luxury fashion retailer Mr Porter. In 2018 he became Nike's global head of content at their WHQ in Portland. A long-term advisor to VGC, Dan moved back to the UK to join the firm full-time in 2022.
He has an MA in Geography from the University of Cambridge and is taking a course in executive coaching in his spare time.
Iain qualified as a chartered accountant at KPMG where he worked for seven years, specialising in Corporate Recovery. He then joined mid-market private equity business CBPE Capital LLP where he rose to become Joint Managing Partner.
As a senior member of CBPE Investment Committee for 15 years, Iain was part of the leadership team that raised, invested and divested three successful funds from 2000 until he retired in 2015.
Iain has served as VCG's Senior Advisory Partner and Chair of Investment Committee since 2018.
Maria started her career at KPMG where she became an ACA Qualified Chartered Accountant. She spent four years in their Financial Services team of Transaction Services advising corporate and private equity clients on buy-side, sell-side, and capital markets transactions. She joined VGC in 2021.
Maria has a Bsc in Economics from The University of Cardiff.
Nick's 30 years of experience in sports and lifestyle began with Reebok in his native Australia. In 1995, he moved to the brand's Boston HQ to take up a succession of senior global marketing roles.
In his four years as Global President of DC Shoes, revenue increased from $165m to $465m. As CEO of Fox Racing, he oversaw a turnaround and successful private equity sale process before becoming CEO of Spyder Active Sports. He has extensive global experience in M&A advisory roles (both buy and sell).
Nick has been Chair of WIT since 2019.
Nicky has worked in private equity for over 10 years, starting at Bain Capital working with the Managing Director of the TMT team before moving on to Atomico. She joined VGC in 2015 where, as Chief of Staff, she manages operations. She also oversees investor relations.
Nicky has a BSc in Business Economics from Plymouth University.
Nico began his career at Btomorrow Ventures - a CVC focusing on consumer and tech opportunities in health and wellness - where he worked on origination and portfolio management. He joined VGC in 2022.
Nico has a BA in Business and Management from Durham University.
Parminder founded VGC Partners in 2011 and the first investments the firm made were on a deal-by-deal basis, building a track record of successful investments and exits, which have included the sale of Super Awesome to Epic Games and Iconic Images to Authentic Brands Group.
Phoebe began her career in product innovation and strategy, working with FMCG companies internationally. In 2019, Phoebe moved into VC, joining Supernode Global in 2019, where she led investments in development-stage digital media and technology companies and exited her first investment in 2022 to Spotify. She joined VGC in 2023 to head up our development fund.
Phoebe has a BA in English Language and Literature from the University of Oxford.
Simon is one of the UK's most successful creative entrepreneurs. He is currently the Chief Creative Officer of Amazon, having joined the company in 2014 after they acquired LoveFilm, the DVD-rental company he founded in 2004.
A serial entrepreneur, Simon also co-founded digital publisher Football 365 which went from start up to IPO in just four years. Earlier in his career he made Sonic the Hedgehog a household name at Sega and was MD of Chris Evans' Ginger Television Productions.
Simon joined Novel as Chair in 2023.
