Glen advises and represents clients on all types of workplace law issues including wrongful dismissal matters; employee misconduct and dismissals; investigations; the preparation, negotiation and advice on employment contracts, policies and other documentation; human rights and workers' compensation matters. Glen represents both employers and employees in his practice. Glen understands the human component of workplace law-related issues, and he has specific experience related to wrongful dismissal claims involving senior management personnel and related shareholder disputes. As an Anishinaabe gay man from the Mississaugas of the Credit First Nation, Glen is passionate about offering pro bono and volunteer services to the interest groups he represents to advance social change. In this capacity, he is a Director of the CBA SOGIC subsection and he volunteers at the Indigenous Community Legal Clinic.

Veronica is committed to ensuring our clients receive exceptional service and legal representation. Veronica has practiced labour, employment and workplace-related human rights and privacy law for over 25 years. After having gained years of experience in national and regional firms, and a stint in her early years as a western Canada HR Manager with a national restaurant company, she ran her own firm from 2007 merging with Ascent in 2023. Veronica's clients are primarily Employers, whom she encourages to involve her as a strategic business partner and HR advisor. Her in-depth and sophisticated understanding of the laws applicable to the workplace, the complex dynamic of workplace relationships and her extensive knowledge of related human resource matters enables her clients to enjoy a productive long-term working relationship - with her and their employees. Veronica also provides mediation services, is a member of ADR BC and a BC Human Rights Tribunal mediator. Veronica brings a thoughtful, practical, and creative approach to solving complex challenges. Outside of work Veronica enjoys outdoors and fitness pursuits, and likes to wind down with a yoga practice, followed by a book, music, or a home movie, and a glass of wine.
