Head of Equestrian - Ben specialises in all aspects of equestrian property.
Ben Way grew up on his family farm in Warwickshire and joined Butler Sherborn in 2010, after completing a BSc (Hons) in Rural Land Management at the Royal Agricultural College. Ben is now a Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors having qualified in 2013.
Ben specialises in all aspects of equestrian property including sales, purchase, valuation, letting, management or providing practical planning and design advice. Ben also deals with the purchase, sale and formal valuation of landed and residential property, with a focus on the North Cotswolds and Warwickshire.
Alongside his work with Butler Sherborn Ben runs a string of event horses competing at International level throughout the UK and abroad. This involvement along with his existing professional work means Ben is well placed to help develop the equestrian side of Butler Sherborn.

AFTER OBTAINING A DEGREE FROM THE RAU IN CIRENCESTER, HELEN WORKED FOR A NATIONAL AGENT IN LONDON, AND FOR THE PAST 10 YEARS HAS BEEN SELLING PROPERTIES ACROSS THE COTSWOLDS. Helen has joined the Butler Sherborn Stow-on-the-Wold office, as Head of Residential Agency. She has lived and worked in the area for last 6 years and has a comprehensive knowledge of the Cotswolds residential market.

Jacob is an AAT qualified accountant and I has been working as an accountant for three years.
He previously worked in private practice preparing and filing accounts and tax returns for companies, individuals, partnerships, farms and trusts.
Lettings Administrator - Karen joined Butler Sherborn in 2012 and provides extensive support for the Lettings Department.
Having lived in the local area all her life, she has gained a wealth of local knowledge.
Karen grew up in Stow-on-the-Wold and moved to Brize Norton in 1993 when her husband joined the RAF.
In 2003 Karen joined an insurance company based in Witney before joining Butler Sherborn in 2012 as Lettings Assistant.
Katy joined the team in Burford in February 2020 and has over 18 years of residential sales experience, from marketing appraisals to detailed client reviews and overseeing sales progression. Katy is well placed to advise and look after clients, whilst working hard within the team to maintain relationships and generate new business.

Lucia joined Butler Sherborn in early 2022, having worked in the property industry for a national firm of agents in Cirencester. She ably assists the Cirencester Agency team in all matters from market appraisals, through launches to sales progression and completions.

Phoebe is the residential agency Administrator & Support in the Stow Office. Having been born in Lower Swell and educated at the Cotswold School, she has an excellent knowledge of the Cotswolds and especially the villages in the Stow environs.

Richard leads and specialises in Professional Valuations of rural property (Probate, IHT, CGT, Bank Lending, Litigation & Divorce) and the buying and selling of land, farms and estates. Richard also undertakes a wide range of other professional and consultancy work; in particular helping with succession planning and resolving disputes.
Richard is a qualified Chartered Surveyor, RICS Registered Valuer, Fellow and past Chairman of Gloucestershire Agricultural Valuers Association.
Lizzie supports Richard Greasby, Head of the Rural department, with all matters from site visits to preparation of valuation and other reports, and land sales.
Before joining Butler Sherborn at the end of 2023, Lizzie worked for another firm of surveyors in Cirencester. Born and raised in the Cirencester area, she has a wealth of local knowledge and contacts.

Sam is a specialist in the valuation, negotiation, sale and purchase of country houses, cottages, farms and estates.
As founding partner he oversees the firm's rural business and property team and also the lettings department.
Educated at the Royal Agricultural College, Cirencester, Sam has been based in Warwickshire, Oxfordshire and Gloucestershire since 1980.
He is a Fellow of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors, an RICS Registered Valuer and an experienced auctioneer and expert witness.
Sophie joined the Butler Sherborn team in 2019 and specialises in residential property sales.
Having worked for highly regarded Estate Agents in Prime Central London and the Cotswolds, Sophie understands her client's needs and offers wonderful client care, whilst being passionate in matching buyers to their dream home.
She has a fabulous understanding of the property market and detailed local knowledge of the area. Sophie grew up on the outskirts of Cirencester and began her Estate Agency career in 2011.
Since joining Butler Sherborn in 2006, Sophie has specialised in residential sales in the Cotswolds, Oxfordshire and Worcestershire.

Head of lettings - Vanessa is deemed as the matriarch of the lettings department with in excess of 20 years industry experience, gained across the sectors within Butler Sherborn.
Vanessa has forged the lettings business into the formidable force that it is today and is now using her consideration expertise to great effects within the department.
Victoria joined Butler Sherborn in 2007 to assist with the promotion and marketing of the firm.
She organizes the events, seminars and sponsorship activities of Butler Sherborn together with all allied advertising and marketing.
After Oxford University, Victoria became a partner in the commercial division at Knight Frank.
