Amie Lonergan

Amie came to Cadence in 2019 after gaining 20+ years of accounting experience. Amie's love for numbers and collaborating with a team makes her an excellent fit at Cadence as she provides accurate & timely financial reporting so that informed economic decisions can be made. Prior to Cadence, Amie worked in a variety of financial controller roles, including Caddis Capital Investments, and HOPE Online Learning Academy.

Ann Sperling

Ann Sperling returned to Trammell Crow Company in 2013 as Senior Director, focused on development and capital markets in Colorado, for this nationally renowned commercial real estate investment and development firm, where she spent twenty-five years earlier in her career, with her prior service concluding as Senior Managing Director and Area Director for the Rocky Mountain Region. Prior to that, Sperling was in two successive roles at Jones Lang LaSalle Incorporated; first as Chief Operating Officer for the Americas region and then as President, Markets West. Sperling also served as Managing Director and the chief operating executive at Catellus Development Group, a wholly owned company of ProLogis during the previous several years. Over her career, she has been involved in most core real estate services for corporate and investor clients, and as an investor and developer. She serves as an Independent Director for Apartment Investment and Management company, a publicly traded multi-family REIT as well as on the Board of Advisors for a private investment company, Cadence Capital. Sperling has also committed herself to a number of civic and community activities. She previously served as Treasurer and Finance Committee Chair and Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors and was recently named to the Child Health Research Committee of Children's Hospital Colorado. Sperling was named to the Board of Advisors of Tufts University School of Arts and Sciences and the National Advisory Board of the University of Colorado Real Estate Center. She has also held leadership roles with the Colorado Outward Bound School, National Association of Industrial and Office Properties (NAIOP), the Urban Land Institute (ULI) and the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC). She has been honored by the National Association of University Women, and she received the 2008 Commercial Real Estate Women (CREW) Denver's Women of Influence Award. In 2018, Sperling was recognized nationally in Real Estate Forum's Women's Hall of Fame. A graduate of Tufts University with a degree in biology and psychology, Sperling earned her MBA at Harvard University

Brent Teske

Job Titles:

Brent has been with Cadence since 2018. His expertise is in working both independently and collaboratively with the Controller, the CFO, Accounts Payable, and the development team - both on retail properties and BTS projects. Prior to joining Cadence, he had worked for the past six years in the financial services industry at Denver Based ALPS, in the corporate expense team focused on advisory, distribution, and mutual fund servicing. Prior to moving to Denver, he was with JP Morgan World Wide Securities in Boston, Massachusetts. Brent's Perfect Day: "Depends on the time of year. Usually hiking or biking outdoors. I like camping in a National Park for bigger trips, but will usually enjoy watching a pro sports game or college basketball. Green Bay and Marquette are usually on national TV here." Brent's Dream Vacation: "I would teleport to Hawaii. One of the few states I've yet to visit. I'd like to explore the multiple islands." Brent's Core Value: "Calm in the face of turbulence. Being able to withstand unexpected challenges in difficult circumstances. Not everything will go as you planned, but how you react to those unexpected circumstances matters in work and in life. I think you see the character of a person when some things may go wrong or differ from what you envisioned the plan to be."

Daniel Allen

Job Titles:

Daniel came to Cadence in 2019, bringing with him creative thinking, problem solving, and long-term relationship building skills to the Cadence Team along with a passion for the built environment. Daniel has a background in architecture and business development, having worked previously for architecture technology firm EvolveLAB and Bridge and Tunnel Restaurant Group. Daniel enjoys the challenge and complexity of putting together a puzzle with so many moving pieces.

Dave Runberg - CFO

Dave joined Cadence in 2014. As CFO of Cadence, Dave's primary responsibility is building and managing the capital structures that form the financial framework for the deals Cadence does. Prior to his time at Cadence, Dave served as CFO for Trust Company of America and Big O' Tires, and several other Financial H\olding companies. Dave's career has been a combination of leading teams of finance professionals while solving a variety of finance, accounting and capital structure problems. Dave's Perfect Day: Any day I spend with my wife Liz, our two sons David and Zach, our daughter-in-law Kelsey, and our grandson Rhett, no matter what we're doing, is the perfect day for me. Dave's Dream Vacation: I've never been to Rome or any part of Italy. Liz and I would love to go there someday. Dave's Core Value: I'm always calm in the face of adversity. Problems never get solved in an optimal way by panicking.

Drew Willock - Chief Legal Officer

Drew joined Cadence in 2001. Drew has a strong understanding of the real estate legal environment, coupled with the curiosity to apply it to each particular transaction. Prior to Cadence, Drew spent time working in the private sector at Brownstein Hyatt Farber Schreck, followed by Exodus Communications. Drew brought with him years of experience in asset based lending, real estate lending and leasing and real estate transactions.

Kay Stallworthy

Job Titles:
  • Managing Director of the Rocky Mountains
Kay has been with Cadence since 2006, or as long as she can remember. She's a key puzzle piece and has contributed to the greater landscape of Cadence on a foundational level. Kay brings with her a unique sense of creativity and an eye for design that shows off our clients value and desirability. Kay's Perfect Day: "I would go for a run on the highline canal, come home for a fresh cup of coffee with my husband, take the boys to some fun event (probably the zoo), have lunch out with a local beer, go swimming or do some gardening, have an outdoor BBQ with our neighbors and then watch a movie with my husband once the kids have gone to bed."

Kim Pendergast

Kim joined Cadence in 2021, after she gained 11+ years of executive administration experience in various sectors. A natural strategic planner, Kim makes an impact by being a positive, dedicated team member who supports business leaders, plans both small and large events, manages office operations, and consistently wears multiple hats. Kim's Perfect Day: "A perfect day off would include a nice walk with my husband and our dogs Ellie and Koda, a couples massage (or just me), a nice lunch with dessert (a must!), and ending the day with some good company and laughter."

Lucy Dinneen

Job Titles:

Lucy joined Cadence in 2001. She holds 34 years of real estate and finance experience and 25 years of single tenant real estate deal knowledge. Lucy began her real estate career at Eastdil Secured in New York City, focusing on real estate structured finance. Lucy then went on to become a crucial asset at Trammell Crow where she created a national retail services platform. Her experiences in real estate eventually brought Lucy to Cadence where she has spent time developing a specialty around single tenant development. Lucy's Perfect Day: "My ideal day would be spent hiking and fishing near Steamboat with my entire family of grown kids, and ending the day with them over a great meal on the Yampa."

Marty Schmitz

Marty Schmitz is past President of Citywide Banks of Colorado, Inc. As President of Citywide Banks, he oversaw business development and the bank's commercial banking operations. In addition, he was very involved in the administration of credit management and the audit and regulatory compliance functions. He currently is Chairman of Citywide Banks of Colorado. Marty represented the second generation of family leadership for the bank holding company, its 12 branch locations and subsidiary businesses including the Citywide Mortgage and Commercial Real Estate service. He was with the organization for 21 years and transitioned the bank from a 275 million dollar organization to a 1.4 billion organization at the time of sale. Prior to joining Citywide Banks of Colorado, Inc., Marty spent 18 years in the Denver commercial real estate business as Vice President with a commercial real estate group specializing in investment and acquisition. Schmitz holds bachelor's degrees in accounting, economics and business administration. He is currently a trustee on the Regis University Board along with a board member of Heartland financial which is a 12 Billion dollar publicly traded organization. Additionally, he currently serves on the Board of the Boys and girls Clubs of Metro Denver. Mr. Schmitz previously served as Chairman of the Bankers Bank of the West and Chairman of the Colorado Bankers Association. In Marty's professional career, he has been lucky to work in a family business started by his Father and carry on that legacy of values including a strong code of conduct, family & faith. Marty's motivation is rooted in those values, both personally and professionally. In addition to his professional & charitable time commitments, spending time with his children/grandchildren, flying & international travel, golf & cooking are all time well spent!

Michael Potts

Michael Potts is Managing Partner of Advance Wave Partners, a boutique investment firm focusing on technology that accelerates human growth and learning. Previously, Michael was CEO and president of Rocky Mountain Institute, a Colorado-based "think-and-do tank" dedicated to speed our shift to a new energy economy. He was also CEO of American Fundware, then a Colorado-based software maker for non-profit and government clients, until it was acquired by Intuit. Michael is writing a book about the intersection of purpose and performance in work, and serves on the boards of numerous mid-tier companies.

Sherri Rosselot

Sherri joined Cadence in 2015. She spent the majority of her career working in the commercial real estate arena with experience in restaurant franchise financing, commercial brokerage and commercial lending before joining the Cadence team as a transaction manager and paralegal. Sherri previously worked as a financial coordinator for real estate transactions for private banks such as First Western Trust and Heartland Bank.Through effective time management, diligence and attention to detail, the ability to simultaneously manage 30+ real estate transactions while assisting with other legal projects.
