Ashley King

Job Titles:

Ashley provides the valuable project management skills necessary to prepare a residence for a new resident. She will meet with you and help you decide on standard options and upgrades to your new home. She will keep you informed of the project timeline to plan to move when the residence is ready.

Carla Robinson

Job Titles:
  • Sales & Marketing Representative
Carla meets with everyone who is considering a move. She is your first friendly face and can answer all your questions about community living. Carla also hosts small group tours several times each month, where you have the opportunity to learn all about Givens Highland Farms and meet a few residents who live here.

Geoff Cantrell

Josue Molina

Job Titles:
  • Sales & Marketing Director
Josue determines the marketing strategy and works closely with the operations team to ensure the services and amenities offered by the community continue to meet the expectations of current and future residents.

Ken Kramer

Job Titles:
  • Executive Director
Ken has over 20 years of experience working in the retirement community industry, beginning with his first position with Maple Knoll Village in Cincinnati, Ohio. From there, he spent seven years with Immanuel Health Systems in Omaha, Nebraska. As Wellness Director, he managed the Wellness Center program for their Lakeside Community and developed Wellness Centers for three of their six communities. In 2005 Ken joined Givens Highland Farms as their Wellness Director, leading the development of their new Wellness Center and continued growth of their wellness program. In July of 2014, Ken took the role of Associate Director of Givens Highland Farms and has served as Executive Director since the retirement of the previous director in March of 2015. Ken is well versed in culture development and has presented on this topic on a national level. He has also published articles in journals such as Assisted Living Success and The Journal on Active Aging. A Miami University of Ohio graduate, Ken has consulted nationally with retirement communities to help them design and develop wellness centers and implement successful wellness cultures.

Kris Hoke

  • Health Services Director
Kris Hoke has been in the Long Term Care sector since 1992. She has been a Licensed Nursing Home Administrator since 1998 with several different organizations. Her responsibilities include supervising the clinical and administrative affairs of the GHF Skilled Nursing Facility to maintain long-term goals and uphold our mission. Ms. Hoke is currently a Preceptor for the NC Board of Examiners for Nursing Home Administrators. She has a B.S in Business Administration, a minor in Economics, and a Master's in Business Administration from Seton Hill University. Kris enjoys outdoor activities and is a pet lover.

Lori Gasperson

  • Sales & Marketing Assistant
Lori is the glue that keeps us all together. She keeps the paperwork and data entry flowing and helps with our social media. Lori is the cheerful voice on the phone when you call in for information. She looks forward to meeting all the new residents.

Michael Willis

Job Titles:
  • Financial Operations Controller
Michael Willis started as Controller at Givens Highland Farms in May of 2022. He is responsible for financial operations, including financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting. Michael comes from Southwest Florida, where he attended Florida Gulf Coast University and received his B.S in Accounting and Masters of Accounting and Taxation. He is a Florida CPA with over 20 years of accounting experience, including 10+ years in public accounting. Most of his career has been spent working with Governmental and Nonprofit organizations, including United Way of Lee County, FL, and Henderson County Habitat for Humanity. He has also taught college accounting and taxation as an adjunct professor.
