Kristi Smith Andrew

Kristi began her career in billing in 1995 working for a high-volume Emergency Room Physician Group performing charge entry, payment posting and insurance denials review. Then in 1997, Kristi joined a busy Pediatric Medicine and Surgery clinic as Billing Manager and was able to apply her knowledge and learn every aspect of Revenue Cycle Management. After the wake of Hurricane Katrina, Kristi began working for a Healthcare Management company that enabled her to apply her extensive billing and coding experience to other Provider Specialties as well as learn full clinic development and start-up.

Wendy Wood

A Fairleigh Dickinson graduate with a Bachelor of Science in Business Management, an Associate?s Degree in Liberal Arts. Her career started EMSA Limited Co., a nationwide Emergency Medicine Staffing Company. In 2000, she began working at Pelican State Outpatient Center, a center specializing in Urgent Care, Industrial and Workers Comp. The Urgent Care experience provided her comprehensive ?hands-on? approach to the Medical Practice. In 2010, she decided to form Gulf South Healthcare Management with business partner Kristi Andrew, CPC. Presently, Wendy maintains an essential role at PSOC, continues to manage business functions for Gulf South and part of the Community Staff at East Jefferson General Hospital for their Family Practice Residency.
