The Hanworth Park Preservation Trust was established in 2001 to promote and safeguard the heritage assets around the Hanworth Park Preservation Area. Our activities have focussed on promoting this remarkable heritage to the local community, as well as fund-raising and leading the restoration of the historic Grade II* listed Church, the Tudor stable block on Castle Way, and the Tudor walls which once surrounded the Royal Palace & Hunting Lodge built by King Henry VII, expanded by King Henry VIII, and lived in by Queen Elizabeth I.
