SANTWANAM

Santwanam Special School was inagurated on 30th June 2008. Classes started functioning on 1st July 2008 in Mar Baselious Orthodox Church Buildings, Damascos, Block office road, Kothamangalam.Now there are 69 students of age group 5 to 40 in five classes. Santwanam Special School is recognized by the Government of Kerala-Recognition Reg.No: 711/2012... To Perform acts of charity for those in need, to establish, setup, maintain, assist, finance a Special School cum training centre for the relief, help, development of retarded, mentally, physically, or otherwise children and for performing such other charity acts, as per the directions of H.H. Moran Mar Baselious Marthoma Paulose II, the then Catholicose designate a charitable society was registered on 27th August 2008 with the name "Mar Baselious Augen Charitable Foundation (Reg. No. ER. 495/08)". The Foundation is a project of Malankara Orthodox Church.
