Home Grown Kiwi was established in October 2017 with the company being formed in 2018. We are 100% Home Grown Kiwi since 1972. We started the business in 2017 on $25 USD and within 3 months had a business that could sustain one fulltime worker. In 2019 we started operating out of storage units until the storage facility ran out of units for us to rent. We then took on a warehouse in Palmerston North, opened the brick-and-mortar store in 2020 and today have recently expanded our store as of July 2023... Welcome to Home Grown Kiwi, New Zealand's premiere hydro store. We have been growing since 1972 and sharing our secrets since 2017. Having been in business 6 years Home Grown Kiwi is here to help Kiwis grow. We're your alternative garden centre offering all the good stuff to grow the good stuff... We deliver to every part of New Zealand and offer warranties on all electrical and non-perishable products. Generally, in normal situations delivery takes 2-3 days for cities and 3-4 days..
