Deborah Barleggs

Deborah has over two decades of coaching and consulting experience working in OD, L&D, Selection & Assessment and Talent Management. She has held leadership roles in boutique psychological consultancies, global corporates and central government. An experienced coach and facilitator, Deborah fosters purposeful conversations where clients (individuals and teams) do some of their best thinking about complex and uncertain topics, and harness the energy, direction and capability for change. Deborah works to identify future leaders, support existing leaders and design workplace processes and cultures where performance, potential and wellbeing can co-exist. Deborah is familiar with many different organizational models including not for profit, central government, private investment, partnership structures, owner-founder, publicly owned and recently acquired. Outside of work Deborah spends time raising funds for Cancer Research UK and enjoys reading, admiring art and architecture, golf and gardening.

Emma Haddleton - CEO

Emma specialises in the assessment and development of leaders and executives at all levels of both private and public organisations. She works on a global platform across a range of sectors including: aerospace, financial services, FMCG, high technology, manufacturing, media, military, energy, outsourcing, pharma, professional services; and retail. Emma began her career researching technology solutions to flexible working and military performance under pressure. She then worked in the City where she led people solutions teams within major transformational change programmes and had a senior role for a City headhunter working in Mergers and Acquisitions and high change environments. She then created, built and led two successful leadership assessment and development consultancies.

Eva Eldridge

Eva is a practicing social psychologist with specialisms in organisational behaviour, culture assessment, change and transition. She is both a Certified Executive coach, performance coach and a Systemic Team coach with expertise in supporting people through organisational or career change and enabling them to achieve high performance, especially in high-pressure environments. She is highly proficient in the design, development and delivery of a wide range of customised programmes for learning organisations, focused especially on performance under pressure. Eva's research (leading to a PhD degree) on virtual teams enables her to effectively empower teams to collaborate better. Her recent work in this area with hospitality sector teams, IT teams, and branding and advertising teams led to a much better collaboration and more effective communication in the teams. Current work with the RAF pilots is focused on enabling them to achieve better resilience, focus and performance under pressure. Eva combines her deep subject matter knowledge of various psychological and neurological mechanisms with the ability to create space, warmth and empathy around individual and team core processes. In her work, Eva is driven by the highest ethical standards of the psychological profession as well as adherence to robust psychological science and neuroscience. She has published widely in areas such as cognitive and neuroscientific aspects of learning, occupational burn-out, organisational citizenship behaviours and trust in leaders. In her spare time Eva loves to play tennis, run, skate, ride horses and walk in nature. She used to be a competitor dressage rider and a dressage judge for a few decades.

Felicity Gibling

Jay Roseveare

Job Titles:

Jay specialises in leadership development and coaching. He has extensive experience of assessment and the interpretation of a wide variety of psychometric instruments. Directly or as an associate he has now worked as a coach in both public and private sectors, and in industries which include the professions, pharmaceuticals, publishing, insurance, education, engineering, space, tourism, the emergency services, IT and healthcare. Jay originally studied law, going on to qualify as a Chartered Secretary and to move into operational and change management to managing director level. Interest in the motivational aspects of leadership led him to requalify as a psychologist and to build a private practice supporting senior managers. Issues raised by senior leaders, both those in post and those themselves considering moves into consultancy, led Jay in parallel to undertake doctoral research into leadership loneliness and the factors influencing individual effectiveness in situations (whether actually or perceived to be) isolated. In his spare time, Jay enjoys spending time with his family, long walks, and growing trees.

Julie Verdon

Julie helps organisations in the public and private sectors to assess and develop their current and future leaders. She works at the most senior levels and her experience spans a wide range of industries, professions, and organisational settings, including retail, aerospace, FMCG, financial services, telecoms, construction, oil and gas, insurance, and health. She is accustomed to working across different geographies and is quick to appreciate her client's history, current context, and future aspirations. Julie's work across different sectors and cultures, her natural curiosity, interest in learning and development and ability to quickly spot patterns, enables her to provide clients with fresh perspectives and valuable insights. Julie started her career in Asia, where she ran the customer service department for a business-to-business conference organisation. She worked with training and assessment consultancies in Southeast Asia, before returning to the UK to further her studies and to help to grow a successful leadership and development consultancy within an executive resourcing practice. Thereafter she was a senior member of a corporate psychology consultancy providing assessment and development solutions to an international client base. She has run her own practice on several occasions. She has also been a coach on leadership development programmes at Said Business School, Oxford University. When she is not working, Julie likes to hike and explore new places. She enjoys cinema and theatre and likes to spend time with her friends and family.

Lyn West

Lyn specialises in the assessment and development of leaders and executives at all levels in both private and public organisations. She works across a broad range of sectors including: Banking, insurance, retail, aviation, education, NHS, Government departments, construction. Lyn began her career in HR with a national retail company, where she headed up their graduate recruitment and development programme and introduced psychometrics into the assessment process. She moved to SHL to manage a team of occupational psychologists and lead projects across the spectrum of their consultancy offering. This included psychometric test and personality questionnaire design and development, delivering their full range of training programmes and designing and delivering recruitment, assessment and development projects for a wide range of clients across industry sectors. Lyn has been an independent consultant for over 20 years, focussing on executive recruitment, leadership development, team building, and executive coaching. Music is a big part of life for Lyn and her family and she and her husband also love to spend time in the mountains, skiing, walking and cycling - ideally with their three adult children!

Rachael Lewis

Rachael is an award winning, chartered, and registered psychologist (HCPC) and Associate Fellow of the British Psychological Society (BPS) specialising in Leadership. She is passionate about helping leaders to be at their best in work and helping them to get the best out of their people. Rachael is a sought-after Executive Coach and facilitator and has worked with clients across a wide range of sectors from Finance, Retail, Hospitality, Telecoms, Technology, Healthcare (NHS) and Manufacturing, successfully offering coaching, development programmes and team development interventions. She has held senior practitioner roles in a leading UK Business Psychology consultancy and is a UK expert on MBTi and Psychological Type (both using it and training others in its use). In 2019 she was won a professional excellence award for her bespoke designed Leadership Development Programme for Hospices. She invests 20% of her time supporting not for profit organisations and has held several non-Exec board level positions and until recently, was a Trustee at the End of Life Partnership. During the pandemic she has been creating supportive solutions for hard hit leaders in Care Homes. Away from work she relaxes by walking her dog, taking a few photographs along the way, or being locked in an escape room with her family, the clock ticking and some complex puzzles to solveā€¦

Rebecca Stevens

Rebecca helps business owners and leaders understand and develop themselves and their people, to deliver an engaged and performing organisation. Rebecca has extensive experience of working for organisations developing and delivering recruitment, assessment and development solutions in a wide range of sectors including: Technology, Energy, Engineering, Retail, Legal, Ombudsman, Housing, Care/Hospice, Charity, Police and Central Government. Rebecca began her career training to be a Project Manager in the defence industry, developing an insight to complex large-scale technology engineering projects. Following a change in career, Rebecca joined the civil service at the Department for Work and Pensions as a psychologist and eventually moved to a recruitment consultancy, responsible for bespoke recruitment and selection assessment projects for public and private sector organisations. Rebecca become a self-employed psychologist in 2011, where she continues to work half the time with the public sector, mainly on recruitment assessment projects, and half the time in the private sector, initially on recruitment projects, and in the last five years coaching managers and leaders in private sector businesses.
