Arthur Wasson

Mr. Wasson has been working with entrepreneurs and their investors in the venture banking space for over 11 years. Most recently, he was Managing Group Director and founding member of the Venture Banking Team at Signature Bank. Prior to that, he spent seven years at Square 1 Bank, most recently as Executive Vice President and head of the Equity Funds Group and Global Treasury Management. Mr. Wasson began his banking career with 16 years at Merrill Lynch and Morgan Stanley in their private banking divisions, working with small and middle market businesses. He received his BS in Accountancy from Villanova University and holds a JD from Albany Law School of Union University.

Bryan C. Polster

Mr. Polster has more than 40 years of experience in the public accounting profession and is the past Chairman of the Board of Partners of Frank, Rimerman + Co. LLP, which serves leading Technology, Venture Capital, and Real Estate companies in Silicon Valley. He is a retired Certified Public Accountant and has served on several committees of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. He is a member of the California Society of Certified Public Accountants and previously served on its Board of Directors. Mr. Polster also serves on the Boards of Camico Mutual Insurance Company, The Sobrato Organization, The Sobrato Family Foundation, and Cristo Rey San Jose Jesuit High School.

Diane J. Flynn

Ms. Flynn is Cofounder and CEO of ReBoot Accel, designing inclusive work cultures. She consults with Fortune 500 companies, coaches executives, and facilitates workshops that support and promote women and underrepresented groups. Ms. Flynn co-authored a book ,"The Upside," presenting the business case for diverse workforces and best practices for tapping the potential of women. She facilitates workshops for alumni at Stanford Business School, and also serves as guest faculty at the Modern Elder Academy and 1440 Multiversity. She has been featured on The Today Show, NBC's Morning Joe, ABC News, NPR's The Takeaway, WSJ and Forbes, and also has the top-selling course at Udemy on Growth Mindset. Diane was previously Chief Marketing Officer of GSVlabs, VP Business Development at Electronic Arts, and an associate consultant at The Boston Consulting Group. She serves on the boards at Resurge International and MixR, and previously served on the Sacred Heart Schools and Santa Lucia Preserve Boards. She earned a BA in Economics from Stanford and an MBA from Harvard.

Dori Hamilton

Ms. Hamilton started her banking career with Union Bank more than 25 years ago. Since then, she has held management positions at several key business banks in the South Bay. As a Senior Vice President, she ran the Corporate Banking Group in San Jose for Comerica Bank and was instrumental in obtaining regulatory approval for AeroBank in the early 2000s. Most recently, Ms. Hamilton managed the Corporate Banking team for Bridge Bank in San Jose. She is currently a Board Member of the Construction Financial Management Association Silicon Valley Chapter. Ms. Hamilton received her BA in International Relations from UC Davis prior to joining Union Bank.

Fergal J. O'Boyle

Mr. O'Boyle joined Avidbank in 2008 as Senior Vice President, Construction Lending and has over 20 years experience in the banking and construction lending business. He came to Avidbank from Bridge Bank where his expertise was in construction and real estate lending. Prior to that, Mr. O'Boyle worked at the Great Bay Bank after he had spent a number of years as an accounting consultant to startup companies. Mr. O'Boyle studied accounting and received his BA from Stonehill College in North Easton, Massachusetts.

Geoff Butner - EVP

Mr. Butner has 30 years of experience in the banking and financial services industry serving small and medium sized businesses. He has held senior management positions at several Bay Area banks including, most recently, eight years at Square 1 Bank as a Risk Manager and five years at Silicon Valley Bank as a Senior Credit Officer. Prior to that, Mr. Butner was the Chief Operating Officer of a venture-backed technology startup called eFinance where he led the engineering, product development, customer service, and sales efforts. He brings deep technology and asset-based lending experience to the team. Mr. Butner received his BA in Business Economics from the University of California at Santa Barbara.

Gina T. Peterson - COO, EVP

Ms. Peterson has over 25 years experience in bank operations, finance, and risk management. She comes to Avidbank from MUFG Union Bank with 8 years in senior level positions, ending as Director, Head of Issues Management. Prior to that, Ms. Peterson held senior positions during her 12 years at PricewaterhouseCoopers ("PwC") in San Francisco, with expertise in process, systems, and controls assurance. She also spent 6 years in bank supervision and regulatory compliance as an Associate National Bank Examiner for the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency ("OCC"), following 4 years in operational roles with community banks in California and Washington. Ms. Peterson received her BA in Business Administration from the University of Washington.

James F. Deutsch

Mr. Deutsch has over 40 years of experience in banking. He is a partner in Patriot Financial Partners, a private equity firm based in Radnor, Pennsylvania. Prior to joining Patriot in 2021, Mr. Deutsch served as President, CEO, and Founder of Team Capital Bank, a privately held institution headquartered in Bethlemen, Pennsylvania. Before Team Capital, he spend over 25 years with Commerce Bank, Brown Brothers Harriman, and Summit Bank. At those banks, he held various management positions in commercial banking, investment banking, and corporate finance. At Patriot, Mr. Deutsch is a member of the Investment Committee, and he also has responsibility for new investment opportunities. He has served on the Board of Directors of more than 10 banks ranging in size from $1 billion to $30 billion in assets. Outside of Patriot, Mr. Deutsch has served on the boards of many not-fo-profit agencies and served as Chair on several of those including the State Theatre, Valley Youth House, and Minsi Trails Boy Scouts. Mr. Deutsch received his BS in Finance and his MBA from Lehigh University.

Joe Maleti

Mr. Maleti has over 25 years experience in commercial real estate lending in the Bay Area. He began his career with Pacific Western Bank and Comerica, and has held senior management positions with Mid-Peninsula Bank and City National Bank. His involvement with the community includes board and committee positions with several local organizations including, Merritt Community Capital Corp, Silicon Valley Leadership Group, and Urban Land Institute's Silicon Valley Committee. He currently serves on the board of the Los Altos Chamber of Commerce and the Bay Area Regional Committee for San Diego State University. Mr. Maleti earned his BS degree in Real Estate from San Diego State University.

Lisa B. Hendrickson

Ms. Hendrickson was Capital Project Manager and former President and CEO of Avenidas, a Palo Alto based not-for-profit senior services agency. Previously she had twenty years of commercial banking experience culminating as Senior Vice President and Manager, Regional Commercial Banking at Wells Fargo Bank in Palo Alto. She has been involved with numerous not-for-profit agencies, and is a former director of the Friends of the Junior Museum and of Samaritan House. Ms. Hendrickson is currently a trustee of The Christensen Fund, a foundation that supports the Indigenous Peoples' Movement in its efforts to advance the rights and opportunities of stewards of bio-cultural diversity.

Marc J. Verissimo

Mr. Verissimo has over 38 years of banking experience, primarily in senior positions. After stints at Bank of America and First Interstate Bank, he founded and was head of Technology Banking at Comerica Bank. In 1993 he joined Silicon Valley Bank. Over the next 23 years, Mr. Verissimo served on SVB's executive committee and worked in multiple roles including Head of California Banking, interim Chief Financial Officer twice, Chief Strategy Officer, and his last role of Chief Risk Officer. In these positions, he led the California banking team that comprised the majority of the bank's revenues, oversaw the bank's overseas expansion into the United Kingdom, China, Israel and India, with responsibility for IT, HR, legal, enterprise risk management, cybersecurity, compliance, credit review, and regulatory relations among other responsibilities. Mr. Verissimo serves on the boards of PollenVC, a private equity backed FinTech company and Lighter Capital, a venture capital backed FinTech company revolutionizing the business of startup financing by providing growth capital to companies across the United States. He also serves on the Board of Customer Vineyards, bringing big data analytics to the wine industry, and on the Board of Trustees for the UC Davis endowment. He received his BS from the University of California, Davis and MBA from Harvard Business School.

Mark Cameron

Mr. Cameron joined Avidbank in June of 2019 as Senior Vice President and Division Manager of the Bank's Structured Finance Division. He came to the Bank from Square 1 Bank where he served as Managing Director. In 2004, Mr. Cameron co-founded Sand Hill Finance, a private finance company focused on investment in leading edge technology companies across North America that was acquired by Square 1 Bank in 2013. Beginning his lending career in the early 1990s, he has also held senior leadership roles with Silicon Valley Bank, Imperial Bank and Sand Hill Capital.

Mark D. Mordell - CEO, Chairman

Mr. Mordell joined the board in January of 2006 and was appointed Chairman in February of 2007. He was named Chief Executive Officer in March of 2012 and brings over 30 years of financial services, real estate and diverse business experience to the Bank. In 1991 he founded California Bavarian Corporation and its successor company, CBC Properties, LLC, which was a full service real estate investment and management organization based in Palo Alto. Mr. Mordell also serves as an advisory board member to MMM Management, Inc., the strategic advisor to a family office based in San Francisco. Additionally, Mr. Mordell has served and serves on various community organizations including Stanford University, Peninsula Bridge, Sacred Heart Preparatory School, and The Town of Portola Valley. Mr. Mordell received a BA in Economics from Stanford University where he played football for four years.

Michael F. Rosinus

Mr. Rosinus is a private investor focusing on investments in community banks, other financial services companies, and a consumer packaged goods company. He is the CEO and principal shareholder of GoHydrate Inc., a rapidly growing manufacturer and distributor of GoHydrate, an electrolyte drink mix, and a rising challenger brand in the functional beverage industry. Mr. Rosinus has a long history of serving on various bank boards of directors throughout the country. He previously served as a Director of Bridgeview Bancorp, Inc. and Bridgeview Bank Group, Cordia Bancorp and Bank of Virginia, Home Bancorp Inc. and Homebanc, and NewDominion Bank. Prior to his investment activities, Mr. Rosinus was employed in the banking industry for 18 years, serving as the Chief Lending Officer for M&T Bank in New York City and subsequently the Chief Executive Officer of the Commercial Bank for Citibank in Chicago. He received his BA from Hamilton College and MBA from the Stern School of Business, New York University.

Patrick Oakes - CFO, EVP

Mr. Oakes has a proven history of optimizing financial performance and maximizing growth and opportunity. He comes to Avidbank from Atlantic Capital Bank where he served as Executive Vice President, Chief Financial Officer and Secretary of the Bank and the Holding Company. Prior to Atlantic Capital, he served as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Square 1 Financial Inc. He also held these same leadership roles at Encore Bancshares, Inc. before joining Square 1. For the 10 years prior, he served as Senior Vice President and Treasurer at Sterling Bank. Mr. Oakes is a Chartered Financial Analyst, and holds a Bachelor of Science, EET degree from Texas A&M University and an MBA, International Finance from Richmond, The American International University in London. He was also named the Atlanta Business Chronicle's 2021 CFO of the Year among Small Public Company CFOs.

Robert H. Scott

Mr. Scott is a 30-year network security industry veteran who was named by Ernst & Young as its Entrepreneur of the Year in 2002. Mr. Scott is currently the Chief Strategy Officer of Silversky, Inc., a provider of cybersecurity as a managed services model that helps organizations address their modern and ever-changing risk with a solution that makes powerful, enterprise-grade cybersecurity simple, affordable and accessible. Previously, he served as the CEO of Cygilant, Inc., a provider of cyber-security as a service that helps organizations hunt, detect and respond quickly to threats, Bradford Networks, a network security company acquired by Fortinet, and Clique Intelligence, a software platform for data sharing and collaboration technologies. He also served as Vice President of Worldwide Sales and Marketing at HP ProCurve Networking, the world's fastest-growing networking company. He joined HP through its 2008 acquisition of Colubris Networks, where he had served as President and CEO, helping the company ascend to prominence in the wireless LAN industry.

Sam Bhaumik
