Established in 1959, Cevahir has played a prominent role in the construction sector both nationally and internationally. Within this period it has expanded into multiple companies within a variety of fields; ranging between construction, security, and mining. Amongst which, were projects in Istanbul; shopping centres and hotels, development of the tallest buildings in Macedonia (Sky City Project) as well as projects in other countries such as Libya and Saudi Arabia... Cevahir Perlite established by Cevahir in 2012, is located in Bergama within the province of Izmir on the Aegean coast of Turkey. Our operations involve the processing, crushing, screening and expansion of Perlite Ore. Our open quarries are estimated to hold up to 25 million tonnes of perlite reserves, while our crushing and screening plant located next to the mine has an annual production capacity of over 100,000 metric tons.
