As Chief Administrative Officer and General Counsel, Amy serves on the Executive Management Team (EMT) and oversees all human resources and legal needs for ESS. With over 20 years in the fields of legal and HR, Amy provides strategic leadership and risk management guidance to leaders across ESS and its subsidiary brands. Amy is passionate about aligning our unique culture with the company vision and laser- focused on continually improving the employee-owner experience. Her team manages contract administration, procurement, compliance, benefits, hiring, onboarding, performance management, retention, and talent development for all employee-owners.

As Assistant Vice President, Billy is responsible for pursuing and managing work within the Northwest Arkansas market. With more than two decades of experience, Billy brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the team. Working with the Springfield management and operational teams, Billy continues to expand ESS' capabilities throughout the NWA region in both the public and private sectors. He is passionate about growing our local workforce and positioning our team to take on aggressive and complex infrastructure projects throughout the region.

Billy Sapp founded Emery Sapp & Sons, Inc. (ESS) in 1972 and grew ESS from 1 employee and 1 piece of equipment in Columbia, Missouri, to more than 1,400 employees across the country. Billy embodies ESS' commitment to building and investing in our employee owners, industry and community relationships, innovation, reserves and profitability, and cultivating our tradition of doing things the "ESS Way". He works tirelessly to provide the best experience for employees and our clients.

Bob Snyder - VP

Bob has over 30 years of experience in the civil construction industry. Bob started his career in the field as a laborer, and has worked his way up to operational management serving as Vice President. Bob is experienced in excavation, asphalt paving, concrete paving, grading, and underground utilities. His diverse background with project lifecycle knowledge is invaluable and a key component to his success throughout his career, with projects completed across the country. Bob is passionate about workforce development, and ensuring that the next generation of workers have the tools and training necessary to succeed. He has been instrumental in the firm's large distribution center projects, including work for Amazon and Dollar Tree.

Brandon Finn - VP

Brandon has more than 20 years of experience in the aggregate and asphalt industry. As Vice President for Hutchens Construction, An Emery Sapp & Sons Company, Brandon oversees all operations including aggregate and asphalt production, base rock installation, highway, commercial, and residential paving, and chip seal and asphalt maintenance. Brandon is known as an industry expert and is always looking for the next innovative and sustainable products and processes for asphalt production and maintenance.

Brian Burks - VP

Brian has more than 11 years of experience in the construction industry and has gained extensive infrastructure experience in areas such as underground utilities, concrete paving, grading, and excavating. Brian manages the firm's operations in Columbia, MO, and is responsible for pursuing and managing work within the Mid-Missouri market. Throughout his 10 years at ESS, Brian has managed several keynote projects, such as the Potterfield Group's Midway USA warehouse project, the Nifong Boulevard Improvements project for the City of Columbia, Missouri, and multiple projects for the Columbia Regional Airport. With his leadership skills and operational expertise, Brian has helped grow ESS' capabilities and expanded project and client management efforts.

Chip Jones - VP

Chip has over 30 years of experience in the heavy construction industry, with experience working for and with the Missouri Department of Transportation (MoDOT). His knowledge and leadership on MoDOT projects has won two awards from the Associated General Contractors (AGC) of America's Build America Award for Highway and Transportation Renovation. As Vice President, Chip oversees business development, pursuit management, and ensures that the proper resources are provided to effectively deliver heavy highway projects across the region.

Dan Hoover

As Executive Vice President of Finance, Dan is responsible for managing the financial functions of ESS as well as critical support teams including accounting and job cost services. Dan ensures our ESOP is compliant and maintained to provide the best value to our employee-owners. Dan oversees the firm's accounting practices, valuation processes, identifies and interfaces with financial institutions, and mitigates business risks.

David Tag

As Assistant Vice President, David oversees projects from conception through completion with constructability in mind, to ensure all expectations are managed. He has won numerous ACPA Project Pavement Awards and NAPA Project Pavement Awards for his work. David is engineering minded and is hands-on with major airport projects in the region. He thrives on projects that are large scale, schedule driven, and resource heavy.

Glen Robertson - President

As President and Chairman of the Board, Glen provides strategic leadership ensuring best-in-class performance in safety, quality, and production. As a structures expert, he applies his strategic and operational experience to deliver unique solutions. Glen has been central to expanding the ESS footprint and positioning ESS as one of the country's most forward-thinking civil construction firms.

Jason Rode - VP

Jason has over 20 years of experience in the construction industry, with hands-on experience in concrete labor. As Vice President, he oversees projects from conception through completion to ensure all expectations are managed. He has experience in multifaceted urban roadways, highway construction, complex airport projects and complete civil site developments from small out-parcels to multi-phased 400+ acre developments. Jason manages the firm's operations in Springfield, MO and NW Arkansas.

Jesse Hinton

Jesse has over 19 years of construction experience serving as the structures specialist on heavy highway projects. He is responsible for implementing our project-specific Quality Management Plan and oversees the quality controls during both design and construction. He has won two awards from the Associated General Contractors (AGC) of America's Build America Award for Highway and Transportation Renovation. Jesse started his career with ESS as a survey intern and worked his way up to working on some of the firm's biggest projects, including the South Lawrence Trafficway project. Jesse knows the way that ESS delivers work and is a needle mover when it comes to structural innovation.

Josh Doerhoff - VP

As Vice President, Josh serves as our pursuit manager and is instrumental in developing win strategies on large projects throughout the company. He has over a decade of management experience on heavy highway construction projects. He has managed new bridge construction, bridge rehabilitation, concrete paving, mass grading, and complex highway construction projects. He thrives on challenging projects involving numerous phases and high volumes of traffic. Josh serves as the glue between estimating and operations when it comes to providing innovative solutions for our clients and ensuring that each project has the resources necessary to deliver.

Keith Bennett - CFO

Keith is responsible for managing the financial performance of ESS and its subsidiaries. Keith was instrumental in transforming ESS into an 100% employee owned firm. As an Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP) subject-matter expert, Keith educates our employees about the value and benefits of employee ownership. As ESS continues to grow in size, enter into new markets, and add new service lines, Keith provides unparalleled insight and guidance.

Mike Bross - VP

Mike has over 45 years of experience in the construction industry, with hands-on experience with all phases of asphalt, milling, grinding and concrete patching. As Vice President, he oversees all levels of projects from bidding through completion. He has extensive experience in all sizes and types of commercial and public transportation projects. Mike is an industry expert for pavement preservation. Mike doesn't stop thinking about a project once it's built, he's always thinking ahead on how to better maintain and preserve the project's assets.

Nathan Alexander

As Assistant Vice President of Accounting, Nathan is responsible for managing the corporate financial functions for all Emery Sapp & Sons brands. Nathan leads critical corporate resources teams and oversees all financial accounting, reporting, and analysis as well as equipment costing and utilization. Nathan also supports our employee stock ownership plan (ESOP) strategy as well as our growing property and casualty insurance programs. Before becoming Assistant Vice President of Accounting, Nathan joined the ESS team as a controller in 2016 with more than a decade of experience in corporate finance.

Robert Gillis - CEO

Robert leads operations of the company, focusing on the vital aspects of the firm including project management, estimating and major pursuits teams. As a market leader and alternative delivery expert, he ensures ESS meets the evolving needs of both our clients and employees by removing obstacles to great work and growth. Robert also takes charge of cross-discipline and cross-office integration, workforce planning and organizational strategy. He is involved in strategic planning for ESS' offices company-wide and helps manage a variety of relationships with partner companies.

Shawn Sapp

Shawn has spent more than 29 years at ESS growing our world-class equipment capabilities. As Executive Vice President of Operations, he is equal parts strategist and facilitator, managing the adoption, implementation and operational impact of our heavy equipment fleet. Shawn is instrumental in project pursuit and execution, leveraging the tools and expertise of our company to deliver for our clients. Shawn is an equipment expert and plays a critical role in managing ESS' market leading equipment fleet.

Tim Paulson - CEO

Tim is a spirited leader who is constantly keeping abreast with industry trends and technology. Tyler Myers

As Assistant Vice President, Tyler leads project and field management for the firm's Kansas City operations and more than 150 employee-owners. Tyler is responsible for preconstruction, project management, constructability and cost analysis, equipment utilization, workforce and talent development efforts as well as supporting the firm's financial analysis. Tyler also has diverse experience across all aspects of infrastructure, client types, and projects and has distinguished himself as one of the firms foremost earthwork experts.
